Of course you have to give Universal Studios a great review. We went during the cooler season, so lines were long but not uncomfortable. The lines for the really good rides are long, but not uncomfortable. Everything is really well organized and fun for everyone, but of course you'll pay the theme park price. The food selection in the main entryway of the park is actually really large and varied, so that is a plus compared to other parks. Additionally the studio tour is fun for all ages!

Now, if anyone are wondering if I was entertained I was. Pleasantly surprised how well everything was and how fun. Really great attractions! Of course it didn't hurt that it was very few people around. Considering. Basically no more than 5 minutes wait and at times we were ushered to move faster in line for an attraction. I can really recommend this time of year - middle of January - to visit.

$120 is the cheapest adult ticket for one days entrance! Ridiculous! On top of that they charge you $20 for parking. I would have been satisfied if the park was as good as Orlando' universal studios - but it wasn't. Not even close. It doesn't have any of the major rides the Orlando park does. All rides are aimed at children. Even the mummy ride is no where near as good / scary as the mummy ride in Orlando. Left the park very confused as to what the actual point of the park's existence was - to bore people to death? Probably, whilst robbing them of $140. Worst theme park ever and I've been to loads.

What an incredible experience this was. There's an intoxicating amount of things to do here and you'll easily fill a day or three sampling everything it has to offer. We visited in February, and despite having standard tickets we managed to get on pretty much every ride - some of them multiple times (like The Mummy ride. We went on that one FIVE times!). I imagine it's much, much busier during summer months, though. We also hopped on the Universal tour bus for a backlot tour which was fantastic. One particular highlight was when we drove past the original Bates' Motel house and an actor playing Norman Bates began slowly walking towards us with a knife before running at the people at the back of the tour bus. Great fun! All in all an amazing day and worth every penny.

I LOVE this place. We have had Disneyland annual passes for years and are actually switching to passes for Universal instead. If you have children, they will love the playgrounds at the Minion land and the Jurassic Park land. There is a wide variety of food to choose from and many different attractions. I think the best thing about this park is the workers. They seem to actually like their jobs. We didn't meet a single unpleasant person in the park. They are very friendly and always willing to help.
