I don't care if this is smaller than Harry Potter World in Orlando - this was still some of the most fun I've ever had in a theme park (yes, even more than Disneyland). I love how you become immersed in the world of Harry Potter. Interactive wands are a must - our kids, even though they were too little to ride the rides - never tired of doing magic for both the days we spent at the park. Butterbeer is exactly as good as everyone says it is. Frozen is the best, but the other two varieties we tried were excellent, too. Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey is one of the best amusement park rides I've been on. We appreciated the excellent child swap room at the front of the line so that our kids could enjoy the Harry Potter movie while my wife and I enjoyed the attraction. We've already made plans to return later this year. Highly recommended.

One of the best parts in Universal Studios! It's great for any Harry Potter fan! The shops are directly from the movies, so are the authentic wands. The rides are fantastic but require a long wait. I would also recommend the butter beer!

The main ride broke down on us 3 times and the food in the main restaurant was very good but a couple of us received cold food. The manager was very nice and gave us a credit along with front of the line passes. I'm sure Harry Potter fans will be thrilled but overall it I felt it was a bit mediocre. The "broomstick ride" is cool (when it doesn't break down) but it is very "rough" and both myself and two others felt queasy after riding it. I continued to ride it to be with my boys. If you are prone to motion sickness, you may want to pass.

I really enjoyed our short experience. However, I bought 6 front of the line tickets at home before we decided to go, thinking the park was open to 10pm as it indicates right here on the site 9am-10pm. Tickets were over $1000.00. I arrived at 3:30 to be told that they were closing early at 8pm. When I told them at the front of the line office that the site said something different they said "oh well". We felt really ripped off. The extra few hours would of made all the difference. We would of come another day. We had guests from Canada and London with us and we didn't get the full experience sadly.... and never again!

The wait time in late January (low-season) during the week is around 20-45 minutes. Other reviews say that during the weekend, it can get to be 1-2 hours, and high season can be 1.5-3 hours. I would highly recommend this ride, it's very well done and the wait isn't so bad with so many interesting things to look at while you wait.
