University of New Haven is a great school. UNH is a better school than Quinnipiac University. QU hates Indian people.I hate Quinnipiac University At least University of New Haven respects India. QU white students like to put mud paint on a white face and write in the caption #Black Lives Matter. A former QU student posted a snapchat photo and it has been shared 100,000 times on social media. QU Higher Authorities Mark Thompson, Dianna Pategas, Donald Weinbach, President John Lahey, Kim Riga, Salvatore Filardi, John Morgan, Lynn Bushnell, and Edgar Rodriguez Office of Public Safety have a hatred toward Indians, Black, and Chinese. This includes QU Students, Faculty, and Staff of Color. People of Color are banned and not welcome at QU. SCSU likes Indian, Chinese, and Black people. Would recommend to attend Southern Connecticut State University and University of New Haven over Quinnipiac University. Cultural Diversity is embraced at UNH and SCSU.

Ignore all of the other reviews about how bad they say this University is because they cant find a job. Its their responsibility to find one not the university's. I love this University, they care about their students more than their money and will work with you to find a solution to any of your problems. SOME of the staff could use some work but, most are great down to earth people. Having more than 230 active clubs on campus leads you not to be bored during your free time. I even was granted the opportunity to found my own Club-Sport UNH E-Sports. and as long as there is interest you can found your very own club as well. Class sizes are very small usually no more than 20 students per class. Professors will work with you if you have any problems with the course. Last year, my roommate became depressed to the point that i had missed many of my classes to stay and watch him to make sure he didnt hurt himself. This had effected my grades in all of my classes. and through sitting down with all of my professors i was able to work out a deal with all of them to help me pass my class. This University is the University of Experimental learning and they are always willing to help you out. YOU JUST HAVE TO ASK

being a student that had gone there, the school will do anything to take money from you, the food is awful and unhealthy, and from my view there are many professors not caring to actually make sure the students understand and retain information they just shove a bunch of info at you, living on campus was awful. I have never heard of a college with such extreme/unrealistic rules. You pay 50000 a year and cannot even park your car on campus or you will get a ticket, it has to be parked a couple miles up at north campus. There are never enough classes with seats for students to enroll in, some courses only have one class for the whole semester and the day of registering the system almost always crashes. I will say that the university is beautiful and the Henry c lee building is exquisit Many professors do not put up midterm grades so you have no idea how you are doing until the end of the semester when it is too late to improve your grade. I had high hopes for this university and am very disappointed

Will be graduating in May 2017 with my MA in Community Psychology. I have been given multiple opportunities with faculty and have participated in the Graduate Student Council as well as the Community Psychology Club. My experiences at U of New Haven have been exceptional thus far.

1. Can you please provide your name, major, and hometown? Ujjwal Pruthi MBA-Finance Punjab, India 2. How has your time at the University helped prepare you for success? Do you have a job/grad school lined up? Participating in various events over the two years has helped me improve my presentation and event management skills. The call campaigns every semester which required calling students from 10-15 different countries helped me improve my customer service, sales and marketing skills. The team environment at the admissions office as well as the class room helped me learn how to work in a team environment. The College of Business has helped me become an international citizen. I am pretty sure I will be able to get a job in any country I want in this world. I am so lucky to have done my MBA from University of New Haven. I highly recommend University of New Haven to all the international students! 3. What obstacles did you overcome to finish your education? Being an international student was hard at first to make new friends and build connections. The idea of group studies at the college of business helped me interact with other people and get out of my comfort zone. We were set in teams with people from different countries. The main challenge was to maintain a team with different cultures. I overcame this obstacle by learning about their culture and sharing mine with them. This lead to an increase in communication, which lead to a great presentation every semester with different people. 4. What are some of your favorite memories of your time here? What were some of the co-curricular activities you were involved in? The best memories of my time at the University are from the international admissions office. I got a chance to learn about the American culture and share some of my mine. I celebrated holidays like Halloween, Christmas, Easter which I never did when I was in India. It turns out, Halloween is my favorite holiday now! I was also involved in a lot of other co-curricular activities. These activities include participating in the orientation video and volunteering as an orientation leader every semester to help the new students. I was also involved in the first orientation at the college of business this year for the new students. I am lucky to have represented the University in India twice for recruiting students and market the University overseas. 5. What unusual experiences/ public service did you do while here? Internships? I started off with my first on campus job, working as a graduate assistant at the Graduate International Admissions Office with Joseph Spellman, Jennifer Carr and other dear coworkers. They are all lovely people. Working in this office for two years not only helped me build my personality but also helped me learn time management and prioritization skills. Last fall, I did an internship at Richard Allen Inc., Norwalk. It is a direct marketing firm. This internship helped me get my first off campus experience in the real world environment. It gave me a chance to interact with people and get direct sales experience. This February, I got a great opportunity from the College of Business to fly to India with the finance department chair, Dr. Charlie Boynton and recruit international students for the University. This was an amazing experience because I got chance to build a marketing plan for international enrollment as well as recruit some students on the spot. I also learnt how to build professional relationships and overseas event management.
