Story

The University of Utah School of Medicine was established in 1905 and houses 16 clinical departments and 6 basic science departments. The school is a prominent center for bio-medical research and maintains a reputation for strong scientific investigation, especially in fields such as genetics and bio-medical informatics.

Centrally located on the University of Utah Health Sciences Campus, the School of Medicine provides students with a top-tier medical education and real-world clinical experience at the University Hospital and Clinics, the world renowned Huntsman Cancer Institute, and the top-rated Moran Eye Center. The School of Medicine also has an active partnership with Primary Children's Medical Center and many other affiliated medical care facilities.
