It is hard to believe that it used to be even worse. I accompanied a friend who was moved from doctor to test to doctor and then told that he needed more tests and that the doctor would be in contact with him. 10-never called back 2-Took 2 weeks to locate the doctor that was dealing with him. 3- Was finally told that the doctor in question had called him , left a message but never heard back. REALITY CHECK: cannot get away with that lie today with cell phones and messaging universally available He never called. 4- the patient called back and was told the doctor was away until the following week . He therefore left a message 5-the doctor has never called back. Great service-especially when lives are on the line

Not good at all, don't follow through, doctors are terrible diagnosticians, cafeteria sells fattening foods (hello, hospital?), pharmacy takes SO long to give your your prescription, but parking is fairly easy.

The service is ok but I've been receiving way too many bills for 1 visit. My insurance paid most of the charges but I keep receiving bills every 2 weeks. I wouldn't recommend this hospital because they seem to charge way too much money for simple stuff that they didn't even treat, just for a preventive visit and office visit is about $500. Now I understand why our healthcare system is not working.

Not a very good hospital. The staff was very great but never had the things in the room to accommodate the parents of the patient. No where for two people to sleep there with their child. One room had to share. My son had a great Dr did a wonderful job and staff brought him everything to make him comfortable.

Had elective surgery at the outpatient center 7/22/17..Every staff member we dealt with could not have been more knowledgeable, friendly, or efficient. My pre-op nurse Lena explained how the prep and procedure would go and put me totally at ease...She was great as was the anesthesiologist and his assistant(Mike and Ali). UVA lived up to its reputation as a first-class facility. great.great..in only put me at ease and
