My mother is 89 and feels very comfortable how Dr Faheem or the PA spess to her ask thurough questions to recommend treatment that has been successful. It did take a ehikw to get a new patient appointment. However, we feel he is well worth the wait to become one of his patients. I sit in on her appointments and like how detailed he is when confirming she understands his questions. So he is able to get her what she needs and also confirm when she is in good shape with her current meds. They changed her blood pressure medication, which is wonderful. Her previous doctor had her on one with many side effects. She is well and back to walking around the neighborhood.

My wife had flu type-A and they sent her home without even doing a flu test because she supposedly didn't have a fever at the time. That night, she had a 102 degree fever with a pulse rate of 140BPM and no medicine. So, we spent more money and time to go back the next day to actually get her treated, because it had gotten worse by that point. Most importantly, they gave her medicine with potentially life-threatening side effects she was at risk for which we found out after the fact; they never said a word about it even though her current meds MADE IT CLEAR she was at risk. Everything ended up being fine, no thanks to University Primary Care. We're never going there again and I suggest you do the same.

I have been calling for a week now and not one person has bothered to call me back. Half the time I couldn't even get a live person or a message box that wasn't full. Got hung up on while the operator transferred me. Not even sure if the nurses are even getting my messages. Not feeling very warm and fuzzy about these folks. I know it's a new building and they have to work out the kinks but come on...a week, and not ONE call!? May be finding a new PC dr soon.
