Although these apartments are close to campus, which is a convenience, I feel that rent of $900 per student is a bit excessive for the space provided. That means that for each apartment, they are receiving $3600 a month in rent. That is way to high. There are apartments that may not be as close, but are more affordable and nicer. The bedrooms are tiny, not a lot of closet space or much room, everything is outdated. My daughter WILL NOT be staying here next year. She has learned a valuable lesson. This place is a ripoff for college students.

I hate living at this place. The hot water always goes out every two months. Right now I have freezing cold water and will have it for days until they have time to fix it. Management doesn’t care about how residents feel. UV is expensive for no reason!. It’s old and as much money as they receive monthly, this place should be modernized and always with hot water. The parking is expensive and you have to park further down from where you live because there aren’t enough convienent parking spaces. You also pay $250 a year for parking. Ridiculous! This place is awful. Campus communities are not responsive to when you call them. No one cares about resident complaints and as management said to me, “we don’t plan on changing it no time soon”. Residents have complained about bugs, black mold, parking, water, you name it. I cannot wait to move! Please do not sign the lease. The only thing I like about living here is living with my roommate.

In terms of quality of apartments, this place is great. HOWEVER, these apartments don't always keep their residents in mind with making decisions. I've lived here 2 years and the printer only works when it wants to. Nobody checks the printer, computer lab, and wifi before they leave so if you want to print something after 9 PM you're out of luck. They close the office hours early and don't tell anyone ahead of time so if you need something, you're out of luck. I had to buy a printer when we're paying for the printer and computer lab. Makes no sense! I had no heat my first winter here and I could see my breath in my room sometimes. I put in work orders but until my mom called and complained they refused to keep trying to fix the heat. I eventually got a plug in heater from them 2 months into the cold weather which was good. Their gym equipment is broken, missing, or damaged. They don't even salt a path (hill) by my building that people easily slip on when there's ice. Easy injury right there.

So I have lived at University Village for one year and I love it. I get my own bedroom, only share a bathroom with one other girl, and I have updated flooring! The view I have in my bedroom/living is fantastic and it's nice that the shuttle comes here. I will be staying until I graduate, that's for sure. The free breakfasts are a nice touch as well, and management is great. UV is very stress-free: it's safe, it's quiet, and it's clean.

Awful experience. The only good thing about this place is neighbors and the people who work at the casino. The apartment itself is way over priced. You pay $900 a month for a moldy bathroom, & outdated kitchen that had terrible looking floors that look dirty even if you try cleaning them. The furniture in the common area is also old looking. The bed is hard. They have bugs crawling up the walls and old carpeting. The list goes on forever. You'd think since they make so much money from charging $900 each month that the places would be nice. It's the complete opposite. I would never recommend this place to anyone. It's nice how close it is to Towson but I'm sure there are many other nicer places that are close. Overall stay far away from this place. The only thing this place cares about is making money
