We are dinner here a month or so ago and also had drinks at the bar first. The service at the bar was very friendly as was the service in the dining room. The food was very good and everyone was very nice. I am not rating the rooms - but unfortunately this place is closing soon bc the university owns the property and they are not renewing the lease so that they can use it for housing, as I understand it. But we enjoyed the restaurant.

I can't believe this place has good reviews. They put us in a room that is literally filthy. It smells like cigarettes. The deadbolt is broken because someone kicked the door in. The sink in the bathroom does not drain. I have not been in a hotel room that is this disgusting since I was in my early twenties.... I called and spoke to Cameron at the front desk who had a bit of an attitude. She got her manager Chris who told me that he would be happy to move me to a cleaner, nicer room but I would have to pay more money. I willI will be taking this up with corporate. In my disgusting, cigarette smoke room waiting to hear back from Chris. I am hoping that he found us a room that is not so filthy.

I stayed here for work back in August and had property stolen by the cleaning ladies. When I brought it to the hotel manager attention he said he asked the cleaning lady and she says she did not steal from me and that was all he is willing to do is ask. They said they would put in a claim and hear back in 72 hours. 
      1 month later no calls back so I reach out to Marriott and they did not have a claim and would not call me back for months and now I find out they will do nothing for me even though I had a receipts of purchase while I was at there hotel. Worse service I ever had in a hotel and that's compared to a Best Western. Lock your doors if you stay here and do not let these people near your stuff. I am also placing a complaint with better buisness bureau.

The Marriott was a wonderful place to stay. The rooms are large and spacious and well kept. The amenities in each room are a very pleasant surprise. This Marriott should stay an institution at the Towson University.

This place was a pleasant surprise & across only a small footbridge from TownsonU's campus. My room's a very spacious suite, the bar/restaurant's convenient w/several students as servers, & it even has a little patio. Starbucks is next door. The staff's been attentive & helpful, though they may be understaffed at front desk.
