I got my first tattoo yesterday at UpRise with Nano! He was amazing! He calmed my nerves (my anxiety was through the roof), was fun to work with (very personable) and does great work! I not only HIGHLY recommend to see him, but the shop in general! I was truly blown away with the atmosphere! It is beautiful, almost “spa-like”. Though i am moving out of town I hope to go back next time I’m in town for something else! May I add, I EXPERIENCED NO PAIN! 🙏🏼😉

This was the best experience I have had when getting tattooed. The shop was very clean! And Jenna was absolutely amazing! She was very friendly and did an amazing job on my tattoo. I highly recommend her! Very pleased with my experience and will be going to her for more tattoos!

I came to Uprise (from Saint Paul, MN) because of the excellent reviews and because I've known my artist (Jenna) for a few years. I could not have been more impressed. It was my first tattoo and Jenna was incredibly patient through my indecision during the design process and came up with an incredible design.

The shop is very clean and the other artists very friendly and professional. Jenna was continually making sure everything was alright during the process and I could not be happier with the final product.

I would absolutely recommend Uprise (and Jenna) to anyone looking to get a tattoo.

Excellent atmosphere to get tattooed in! The shop is modern and kept clean and the staff is very knowledgeable. All the artists are great, but I get my work done by Andrew Mullen - amazing traditional pieces! I pass up a few tattoo shops just to go to this one!

This shop is awesome! Super clean, relaxing, and just plain dope. Every artist has their own private room with a TV! Couldn't ask for better experience while getting a tattoo.  The artist are second to none as well.  Have two full sleeves from "Beto." He is one of the best black and shading artist I've seen in Chicago by far. I wouldn't think to ever go anywhere else.  Their work is flawless and their prices are fair.  Go check them out!!
