Absolutely horrible venue. Four of us girls went to see Ty Dolla Sign last night (March18) and it was the WORST experience I’ve ever had in my life from beginning to end. The staff (security/door people) are extremely rude and have no clue how to operate in a professional manner. Incredibly unorganized and quick to pass the blame to everyone but themselves yet have no desire to resolve any issues. Customer service and safety is definitely not a priority. The VIP tickets we purchased said to show up at 5pm and instructed “do not be late”. We showed up at 5pm and were made to wait outside for two hours in 20 degree weather. We were supposed to get early entry, yet we were not even able to go inside where it was warm for those two hours. We were let in at the same time as those who purchased GA tickets and spent hundreds of dollars less than us. Our meet and greet / photo op was one horrible quality photo and we didn’t even get to speak to him. After that our friends showed up and were told their tickets had “already been scanned” and that if they wanted in they could pay cash..... seemed pretty sketchy. We said no and asked to speak with someone who was incredibly rude although she did eventually let us in after blaming everyone else for the issue. Because of this we missed yet another hour of our show. We finally got in and started to have a good time, one of my friends gets jumped from behind for no reason other than bumping elbows in the CROWD of people and gets pulled down to the ground and punched etc. The security pushed through everyone, knocking people over, elbowed me in the back SUPER hard trying to shove me out of the way, grabbed my friend by her arm and DRAGGED her out of the club when she didn’t at all do anything wrong nor was she fighting the security she was saying “I’m going, you’re hurting me, I’m walking with you, etc” they refused to even LISTEN and therefore all four of us had to leave, before we even got to see the headliner. We wasted over $500 in total considering NONE of us were able to see the show. We tried talking to them and they said “once you’re out you’re out” meanwhile three of us weren’t even kicked out, we simply followed to make sure our friend was okay... we asked to speak to a manager because this was ridiculous and were told no and to come back tomorrow. We asked why we weren’t able to speak to someone now and we were told “because I said so.” How professional. We were told come back between 11-4 because the manager wasn’t in. We’re from Toronto so we were basically screwed and had no idea where to go since it was freezing, so we reluctantly left, (again, professional right? Leaving four girls from out of country to figure it out, not even offering to call a cab for us) and returned in the morning. When we returned, the “manager” was one of the staff that was there last night and basically told us he’s not doing anything, and when we asked “why were we told to come back in the morning if you were here last night and weren’t going to do anything...” and we were told “they probably just wanted to get rid of you.” So we’re not entitled to see the concert we paid for simply because they don’t like us for no good reason. Hopefully others will read this review and steer clear of this circus. We’re in the process of trying to get our money back after getting jumped at their venue still. Don’t give them ANY money if they say your tickets are “already scanned”!!!

Great place to see live music. Finally starting to get back to good music at good prices. Place has a great setup for live shows as it is small and all general admission, no seating. If you want front row, you can have it. If you want a table, they have them as well. Only down side is the layout for the bathrooms, they could be a lot better. Overall a good place to see live music.

Worst venue I've ever been to. The most unprofessional staff. Not sure how this venue is even in business with all the awful reviews. My friend tripped over her 5 inch stilettos and they kicked her out, made her stand outside in 20 degree weather and refused to let her back inside because she was "too intoxicated" but meanwhile she had no problem standing outside for an hour waiting for a taxi. The "'manager" and his staff were almost high fiving each other as if they did a great job. People can bring illegal substances into the venue and not get kicked out, but my friend trips over her shoes and has to leave. She didn't even get to see the artist and they refused to refund her. Never again will I attend another concert her. This venue is a joke so is the staff

Easy to find. Has parking lot. No re-entry. Staff friendly. First band was mixed amazingly well, but headliner wasn't (basically just kick and snare were audible, everything else was indistinguishable and it was a guitar-centric band...).

While they manage to book good acts, the venue itself is a bit of a mess. I had big hopes that when the place changed ownership that they would make some much needed renovations, that never happened. There's still a bar jutting out into what otherwise would be prime viewing area, the bathrooms are still dingy, and the acoustics are still pretty dreadful. Worst of all, it always feels overcrowded because there's only about a third of the building where you can actually see the stage completely unobstructed. I get that there are structural beams, but those aren't where my complaint lies. Between the L-shape of the floor space, the bar, the sound booth, and the other half of the floor being tucked behind a wall everyone packs in to the only decent places in venue. It just makes for an unpleasant show. I'm no snob, I love hole in the wall venues, but this is something else entirely, especially when you consider the rude and aggressive attitude of the staff. Will I still keep going to shows here? Yeah, I probably will though reluctantly, but if a more competently run mid size concert space opens up, see ya!
