On November 21, 2009 the Uptown Dog Park was the first dog park to open in North Long Beach, California.
The Park is open during daylight hours.
It has two sections, one for large dogs and one for small dogs. Currently no water fountain is available.

Nice place to go although my dog is more interested in the grass outside the dog park rather than the dirt on the inside. Usually lots of yappy dogs..

A great looking park which is never crowded but there's always someone there. If I had a dog this is where I would bring it.

This park has really gone downhill in the past 1-3 years. It used to be good. Now it is dirty for days, even one day after the supposed Monday morning weekly cleaning. No waste disposal bags, yappy dogs uncontrolled by their owners on the small dog side (VERY annoying), and lots of various small debris scattered around the park (remnants of toys, metal can caps, etc.) Very sad. Taxpayers deserve better than this. The Parks and Recreation Dept. needs to do something about this.

Nope. Came here because my corgi's regular dog park is closed for renovations. This dog park is so disappointing, it's small, there's no grass and poop everywhere! We would come when there's a older man that lets his dog hump my dog, all the while thinking it's funny. Literally told me, " it's okay he's fix" and "he's part corgi so it's fine" Uh I don't give a sh**, get your dog off! There was nice lady there helping me get his dog off. I ended up leaving early and the other lady did too.
