I found this salon a few days after arriving in Fredericton. I needed someone to shampoo and style my shoulder length relaxed hair and put my trust in Thor. What can I say? Thor is patient, charming, knowledgeable and talented, a beautiful person outside and in. I left the salon looking and feeling like a million dollars. I will certainly be back.

I am extremely disappointed as entire hair straightening was gone after first wash. Even the products that were used are of low quality. I drove all the way from Saint John just by checking good reviews about hair straightening from this salon. The gentleman charged me 350$ +tax and I did not negotiate it, thinking it will be good job done. But let me warn all you girls not to fall in this same trap because many reviews are fake.

Don't waste your time or money on this salesman who fronts as a hairstylist.

He will over charge you for your service if you don't give into the pressure he puts on you for extra add ons. I assume that many women will be duped into believing this guy knows his stuff because he's able to pull off an all knowing type of attitude. 

His techniques are outdated (I have several friends who are top hairstylists from across Canada). He'll even risk damaging your hair because he doesn't know what he's doing. 

Thor's skills are in selling the 'experience' of a expensive salon. He definitely knows he's got to offer the small perks (like coffee or filtered water) to make women feel 'special' so you don't question his poor skills or hefty prices. Don't be fooled by his distractions! His work is abysmal and pricey! You would think someone who brags about being in the industry for a long time would make the effort to continually keep up with new techniques through educational programs (which any legitimate hair stylist will do!)

Save yourself your money, time and effort and go somewhere legitimate. I was a sucker and paid the guy when I should have been a stronger woman, put my foot down and refused to pay. I was too weak and he took advantage of that weakness. 

But, go ahead and ask him about his new business ventures (teeth whitening) and he'll talk forever about it (and try to convince you to get that done too!)

I only hope more women will realize the scammer this guy is and give someone else their hard earned cash who honestly works hard and has some talent (other than the talent of being a good salesman).

Thor did a great job, he really knows what cuts and colours best compliment a person's face. Definitely recommend.
