The front desk staff are great. That's about it. Go into the forest on your razor or four wheeler and run into the Forest Service people and you will feel like a criminal. Don't get caught without your off road vehicle map! And definitely don't get caught on a road that's not marked at all and find out it's closed. The forest service personnel in the field are burning tax payers dollars with citation book in hand to harass and cite the public. And be careful on the back roads! They are not maintained AT ALL even though you pay for your off road sticker and plates. They will go in the spring to clear trees but that's it! Take a trip to the NF on 327 and you'll see how well they maintain the roads. And that's just one road. They all have issues. It's like the Forest Service collects money and fee's from citations to pay their salaries and that's about all you get. The Forest Service and BLM are alike. Power thirsty with no oversight.
