Visited with my 3yr old and he loved watching the boats and planes. We even saw some helicopters that flew right over the water. My son loved that. We did not go to the playground but there were two structures and picnic tables. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the walkways are not very well maintained. There was trash, grass growing over the sidewalk and it's very uneven.

It's a great parking location if your up for the walk over to the mall. We usually park here for the cherry blossom, thats if we are able to get into town early enough. Parking closer to the tourist area can be convenient but it ain't cheap. It's nice to see so many people making good use of the park system.

Great place to walk, bike, sports. Had mini golf & tennis. Less crowded and beautiful for cherry blossoms in spring

Perfect spot to go jogging, biking, in-line skating or do some other outdoor activity. Beautiful all year long.
