Although there is sometimes a wait at this location, there are usually multiple postal Clerks, and you don't have to wait long. They offer 24-hour post office box access, as well as a self serve priority mail kiosk. There is also a Dropbox for priority mail. There is a passport office, which has been recently renovated, and the entrance is inside the post office. They sell many types of shipping supplies, including decorative Packaging, and standard cardboard boxes and bubble wrap mailing envelopes. Priority Mail Boxes and envelopes are free of charge, and many of them are flat rate. Packing tape can be purchased, but if you need a large amount it is not available. The postal employees at this location are very knowledgeable they offer multiple options for shipping packages, and will inform you of the cost of each shipping choice. Parking at this location is somewhat Limited, although there are also drive up mailboxes, so you don't actually have to go into the post office to Mail envelopes or any packages that are under the 13 Oz first class mail limit.

Horrible...I just moved last month. Had my mail forwarded Dec 11 to the new address. Builder notified post office that boxes were up and running and appropriate keys were delivered. I received my updated car insurance card, and that’s been it in the past month. Had calls from my employer and other companies stating mail with my new address had been returned back to them. Expecting important documents and none have been received. Had a package returned stating “there was a problem with the address”. Intercepted the mail carrier yesterday. She said she didn’t have keys to my box. Said she was getting mail for my address and just “taking it back”. Where??? Told me to “go to water street to figure it out”. Are you kidding me!!! My builder is on this as well, but where is my mail??? And how was I supposed to know there was any issue with the address until i was informed my mail was being returned to sender.

Most of the clerk's are VERY helpful and efficient. Occasionally I will get one woman who seems unhappy to be there... but for the most part they are very nice even with long lines. One woman in particular seems to remember everyone and she makes everyone smile while doing a great job.

Customer service over the phone is apparently non-existent. I called and after fumbling through the menus I was able to finally figure out how to at least request to speak with a person. After 45 minutes on hold I finally gave up. If I could give zero Stars I would.

The worst service I’ve seen in my life. Since moving to Toms River we rarely get our mail. Packages never arrive. Counter people and customer service are very rude when you try to find out what is going on. Absolutely ridiculous that major changes have not been made at this location after consistent 1 star reviews. Doesn’t even deserve the 1 star
