I went to the Santa Rosa office today (Tuesday 7/25/17) without an appointment. I arrived at 10:05 AM and 30 minutes later was checked in and told to wait until my name was called.
About 40 minutes later my name was called and I went to window 5. The woman at the window was very courteous and professional and was able to assist me with my issue of receiving benefits and wanting to withdraw my application. She suggested an alternative of suspending my claim until I am ready to receive the payments, which I had not been aware of from prior discussions with others on the phone. She also very quickly set up my online account that I had been having trouble with.  
When I got there 4 out of 7 windows were open. When I left at 11:25 all windows were open!
Less than an hour and a half without an appointment seemed reasonable to me given the volume of people they were assisting. 
I am very satisfied with the service I received.

Unbelievable, not sure what happened still in disbelief, The lady I had and  I wont name names,  ask me the same questions 5-6 time's I lost )count,  (I'm thinking) I  just told you that, are you serious..! and it's also right in front of you on a piece of paper, that you ask me to fill out, not too mention another round of question's asked three  3 time's, I actually put up 3 fingers and said, this is 3rd time you ask me that, and the answer is still the same NO , there's more but what's the point, She didn't seem very competent at her job, or seem to care, It's very stressful and trying time in my life after working all my life, and now I need help, I did not walk out of there with a feeling of hope for my future, if anything I'm more stressed..!   Thx

First visit & had great customer service only problem was the old building ventilation set off my allergies, big time.  Feel bad for staff & customers.

The staff was friendly and courteous, but in the 3 times I have dealt with them, I never get a correct answer. I will talk with one and they tell me something, and then talk to another and tell me the person was wrong. I then call the Social Security office (not the local one) and they give me completely different information.  They tell you they are there to help you but beware, they work for Social Security and that is where their allegiance is.  There is a lack of training, or they just don't care. If you need to talk with them about something, be prepared for frustration and confusion.
