I am not referring to the day program. This is for the "counselor's I was referred to because of insurance. My child was going to see Dennis Springsteed a year or so. I knew something else was wrong. I took it upon myself to have my child evaluated. Within 10 minutes my child was diagnosed and treated properly. I was shot down a few times expressing my concerns with this place concerning medication. "We are just counselors" The "counselor" got a new job and said all of my child's records and notes will be transferred to the new counselor. My child or I never met or went over the details for a smooth transition. Over a month went by. I am now looking for more options. My child's other parent against my concerns gets ahold of someone and makes an appointment. I take my child to the appointment. I was doing this for my child but still uneasy. My child's new counselor had no notes for over the past year which was supposed to be discussed, no medical or medication history, just winging it with no ounce of what she was dealing with. This is what happens. I'm obviously frustrated being there. I ask questions of what's going on in this place. Response: sorry I'm just getting to all of this now. Remember I was told over a month ago she would be briefed and then contacted. After a few disagreements I was called "intimidating" in front of my children and the other parent who has just sat there and is ok for arranging this appointment. This counselor then made sure she told about her "3" degrees after a conversation where the other parent manipulated the situation by referring to a conversation me and her had and were in agreement with, then without my knowing then called the child after to ask them if they had all their stuff .The child wasn't sure and said no. So after me and her had an understanding what the child needed she called the child and asked what they needed and went with that. I tried to explain this behavior after the fact. The counselor met with my child alone for supposedly 20 minutes. My daughter and I watched her through a window on the phone we know now calling the police and I'm sure taking whatever my child said because the therapy there brings out the worst because he's been great straight As for months. My child didnt know what to do. I had cops at my house when I got home because the counselor was afraid for the child's safety. So no notes, no nothing, after over a year of counseling they call the cops on the responsible parent? They just brought out what I've tried so hard to get rid of. Screw you people. You shouldn't have a license. Flush a kid down the toilet Utah at its finest.
