When one of my sisters and I met with Matt last year to put into place a pre-paid funeral plan for our father, we were impressed in every way. Matt took time to explain everything we needed to know, and to answer our questions, in a kind and compassionate way. Last week as we laid our father to rest, Utah Valley Mortuary took care of all of us, down to very small details that mean a lot.  They know how to make a difficult time go smoothly, including the provision of umbrellas at the cemetery on a rainy day.  We are thankful for their sensitivity and efficiency, and recommend their services to others who need it.

I cannot adequately express what a wonderful experience it was to work with Utah Valley Mortuary. They are compassionate, sensitive, gentle, caring and do excellent work in every regard. Their attention to detail was second to none. They had great communication and made sure that things we may not have considered were addressed. And their care and attention at the viewing, funeral services and interment far exceeded our every expectation. I would HIGHLY recommend UVM to anyone needing to plan for a funeral now or in the future. I cannot thank them enough for the wonderful job they did for us.

Matt was amazing to work with and so personable in his business of helping families to find peace in laying loved ones to rest. Top notch people. Absolute professionals. Thank you for working so well with the Chris Nielson services. He looked and was treated perfectly.

We were so, so impressed with Matt Davis and Utah Valley Mortuary. He took care of every detail, was always kind and so respectful. Could not be more pleased, we trust you with our loved ones!  Thanks Matt, we appreciate you!

From the first moment I walked in, I felt warm and welcomed. I went in, just in case I would need to use their services for my unborn daughter (preexisting condition). No matter the case, Matt was very kind and took the time to explain how everything would go if that day were to come. 

3 days later we made the call that we would in fact need their services. I called Matt to tell him my daughter was ready and to work out some minor details then hung up the phone; I had forgotten to go over something so I called back not even 5 minutes later and he had already left to the hospital To pick up my sweet girl (nearly an hour and 20 minute drive on a good day). Then he called me the moment he arrived back, reassuring me that she was safe and would be cared for. 

The day of the funeral was perfect. They made sure she looked her very best. They had thought of every detail. That day, although heartbreaking, was more beautiful than I could have ever imagined, all because of everyone at Utah Valley Mortuary. 

I would highly recommend them to anyone because of their professionalism, the comfort and genuine care they provide, the efficacy of which they work, and the reassurance that your loved one’s final day will be the most precious day possible. A must during the hardest time in a family’s life. 

Thank you all so much, especially Matt for making my princess’s day as magical and beautiful as you possibly could. I am so grateful for the kindness and love that you showed towards me and my family. You are all angels, I’m sure of it. May God bless you.
