The worst auto repair shop I have ever delt with. My car got a window smashed in and took it here thinking it was a quick window replacement. WRONG! The window got replaced and was told it was ready to be picked up. I came to pick it up only to nice the window would not stay up when rolled up completely. Each time i rolled it up all the way, it would come halfway down by itself. It was obvious these guys did not know they had to reset the window motor when replacing it. They then tried to tell me I had to take it someone to be reset or they could do it but it would be extra because it was not part of the original quote. I knew something was fishy but after arguing they agreed to take a look at it again. I came back next day to pick it up and guess what? The window now rolls up and stays up. Guess it really is necessary to do that and they just forgot? But the story is not over... I of course tested everything in the car and inspected it. The doors no longer lock and unlock properly and the gas gauge no long functions. The dome light does the opposite of what its suppose to do and turns on when the doors are closed and dims/tries to shut off when the doors close. The sensors no longer sense the doors are closed and the car thinks the doors are perpetually open. It makes beeping noise constantly while driving. The automatic lights no longer turn off when I do manage to lock the car. I of course confront them about this and at first tell me these are not really problems and to just work around it. After saying NO some of these are safety issues and they need to look at it, they go and change their stance and tell me that these issues were present before bringing to them. They continue to refuse to take ownership of the problems they have created. They then tell me I must pick up the car and pay for the repairs or else I would be charged a $55 a day storage fee. It was clear that these people cannot be reasoned with. Vinny, the own repeated tells me he's been in business for 20 years (first time he said 16 years btw) and has never had and issue. His workers thinks he's a god and try to brush off all the issues when I told them first. At this point, I try to pay him and he tells me he doesn't take credit cards when it was clear on their website that they take credit cards. I tell okay, Ill give you a personal check and he's like okay. He gets my car and comes back and tells me no he won't take a personal check because how troublesome to him I have been and he doesn't "trust" me. He requires he be paid in cash or else I will not receive my car and I will continue to be charged an additional $55 a day for storage until I pay and pick up my car. The good news is my window works and I can be warm in the winter after $130. The bad news is I now have a bunch of electronics issue that potentially will cost me more to fix. Do yourself a favor and take it to some people who know what they are doing or at least will admit to messing up when they do.
