I am writing for my husband Joseph. Thank you for all the kindness and patience with me. Starting with the ladies at the front desk to Doctors, counselors , vision, hearing and meds. How fortunate I am to have to this facility to be able to go to with health and mental issues plus just questions. Thank you to the veterans org. as a whole. I appreciate all that is always done for me.

Getting a first appointment at this VA takes quite some time. I called to get registered and got an answering machine. After a few days, I finally just went into the clinic to speak to someone and register. It took a few more days after registering for them to call me to set up an appointment... that was 2.5 months out. I was told I could call an individual clinic within the VA and get in sooner for what I needed. I attempted, and was told I had to wait until after my first appointment... 2.5 months away. My actual appointment went well. Dr. Quintana seemed very good and kind. She was concerned about things a lot of previous VA providers let slide. The nurse and other staff were kind and welcoming. I have been to several VA facilities, in several states, through the course of several years.. The problem is rarely the staff. The problem is the policies and the workload that is upon these people. I think this VA is understaffed, like most others and things take a long time, especially trying to get in for the first time. The best way to get in and deal with the VA a lot of times is to physically go there. It is a hassle, but you have to do certain things, in certain ways, just like when we were in the military. Don't be belligerent. They really are trying to help.

Trying to become a new patient here. Consistently having them cancel. For 5 months I have been trying to get an appointment. Each time I have a return call that they have cancelled and need to reschedule. This place is a damn joke

There is no medical nor mental health professionals at this facility. They are all fake an phony. I do not understand why this facility is even open to veterans. You can get more done threw a drive up pharmacy then this waste of a space they call a clinic. I hope trump drains this waste facility, because there is no chance in the world that this facility could be made great again. I have experienced the most malpractice on both floor's. Getting a new PCM every six months or none, cause the doctor quits out right.. As for the mental, you would figure this would be squared away to the fullest, but that is so far from that. It use to be fabulous actually... To all the special snowflake comments, you folk's need to figure out a true rating for yourselves, it is a rate an review in fact. Shame on you folk's that gave a dis-honest rating, truly show's you're part of the problem that ride's the system out, there are real veteran's that actually require some serious proper immediate medical attention. Unlike you logs I see in there all the time chatten up the front desk people like you are joe cool back on the block block. So go charlie mike on you POGS. 6/29/17 still waiting on getting a simple XRAY! Went an saw a new PCM, stared at the computer monitor 10 minutes for simple procedure questions, couldn't even take a second to introduce herself. Had the reading comprehension of a 2 year old, huhs an ohs was every other word that came outta her pathetic excuse for a so called doctors mouth. Dr Severance you're a absolute failure an embarrassment to the professional medical community.

Always a hassle at this facility, my appointment has been changed or cancelled without prior notice! And to get an appointment is ridiculous, usually for me it's 3-4 months out. I had just called in earlier 23 May 2017 for an appointment and they sent me to a recording. In which I left my personal information, with a call back number. I waited a couple of hours for a call back but never received. I then called again then finally was directed to my Primary Care provider.
