Story

Vail Christian Church is a non denominational Church on a mission to help you in your spiritual journey to connect with God. We know that in this journey, the road to finding a church is fairly difficult and even sometimes frustrating. So we want to be helpful in opening the door to the heartbeat of Vail Christian Church.

We offer three services on Sunday Mornings at 8, 9:30 and 11am. Each service is focused to worship the Lord, celebrate life in Christ and teach the scriptures. You will experience a casual environment that is warm and friendly and find a culture that deeply values the unchanging truths of the Gospel of Jesus.

During each Service children ages birth through fifth grade are provided classes with solid qualified teachers and helpers to lead them through experiences that help them learn, worship and grow in their understanding of the Bible and the purposes of the Lord. We offer quick and easy electronic check in and check out that ensures a safe and secure environment.

Middle school and High School students enjoy great mid-week small groups that facilitate connection to all kinds of events just for them with bands and leaders that bring creative teaching and worship to their world and unique life. Camps, retreats and mission projects are just of few of the experiences we invest in to provide growth.

Sunday Morning services are just one expression of Vail Christian Church. There is so much more to get involved in and investigate. Small groups, teams, services projects and plenty of resources to encourage and help equip your family are just a few of the layers that are designed with you in mind.

You are invited to join us in worshiping, gathering, giving and serving! In doing these things we live out our calling as the church, fulfilling the great commission and bringing transformation to our community, our country and our world.

WHO WE ARE
WE ARE FREE IN CHRIST
We believe deeply that simplicity frees us to live focused and authentic lives. There is room in our lives to connect to God and others. We have margin in our resources so that we can use them for God’s glory.

WE ARE PARTNERS IN THE GOSPEL
We believe that seeking to discover where God is moving and responding without hesitation is foundational to living out our trust in God. We are an evangelistic community, intentionally reaching out to those far from God without compromising our essential beliefs. We are a church who is passionate about equipping and training Christ-Followers to continue the ministry of Jesus Christ in the world in the power of the Holy Spirit.

WE ARE UNDER THE AUTHORITY OF SCRIPTURE
The Bible is God’s direct revelation to humanity and all matters of life are to be settled by scripture. Our church government is ordered by sound biblical doctrine. Teaching in every area of ministry is irrevocably grounded in scripture and centered on the person of Jesus Christ.

WE ARE A HOUSEHOLD OF FAITH
We are a family of families who builds a heritage of faith into each other and into future generations. Our marriages are living illustrations of Christ’s relationship with the church displaying the glory of God. We believe that intentionally and creatively reaching men will help us to reach whole families and create balance between genders in the local church.


WHAT WE DO
WORSHIP
We showcase God’s worth and value in all aspects of our lives. We remain connected to the heart of God through diligent prayer and consistent study of the scriptures. We obey God’s commands as a response to God’s unmerited favor on our lives.

GATHER
We connect to other Christ-followers in community for support, spiritual growth, and fellowship. We purposefully engage in life with others and lead them toward faith in Jesus Christ welcoming questions of life and faith and demonstrating life in Christ. We reproduce ourselves on all levels, establishing Christ-followers, duplicating healthy marriages, building faith into the next generation, creating dynamic leaders, and planting churches.

GIVE
We acknowledge God’s sovereignty over all wealth, including the wealth He has entrusted to us. We give to the local church financially. We rely on the Holy Spirit for wisdom on how we financially give to other organizations, the poor, and needs around the world.

SERVE
We invest time, talent and gifts willingly to support the functioning body of Christ. We engage with our community, city, nation and the world, caring for others both inside and outside the church, with the goal of communicating the gospel message and increasing the fame of Jesus Christ.
