Lots of ube, pandan, and coconut flavored stuff. I like their ube crinkle cookies, but I mostly get their chicken empanadas. Currently 6 for $17.28.Food: 4/5
Lovely, clean, super fresh Filipino bakery in Milpitas we were introduced to while in Hawaii, they have bakeries there as well. -Pan de Ube was what we had in Hawaii & as always is delicious, purple sweet potato filling is yummy and not too sweet! -The Ube Cheese Pandesal is super good, not dense, not oily, perfect chewiness, just a slight hint of cheese & ube, will be getting these often too. Would be great w.a salad! -Pork Filled Siopao huge steamed buns had just been cooked around 1:30pm and was being placed in the fridge when we were handed the still hot container of 4ct = $11.52. Delicious! No need for any additional soy sauce & apple cider vinegar dip we normally use with steamed buns. -Their Turon $1.25 ea was ok, though we wouldn't reorder these as they are deep fried then slathered with a syrup glaze = super sweet & way too heavy/oily. Not for us. Wonderful, sweet ladies work here, thank you to them. They had many patrons while we were in for the 1st time. Definitely love some of these Filipino baked goods and looking forward to sampling the other goodies in the future!
Very unpleasant experience. It was dirty, packed wall to wall with junk, girl who took order not a native English speaker so there was a disconnect from the beginning. Ordered boba tea and it came only about 70% full and wrapped in cellophane because the lid did not fit correctly. I was so weirded out by the whole process I left it on the table and walked away just wanting to be done with this place. Will never EVER go here or advocate anybody else go here. It's broken down, not well cared for and either they don't get it or don't care, not sure which.
Brings nostalgia and a piece of Philippines with their baked goods. Love their pandesal; tasty bread, we were gifted with ube pan and bibingka. Will gladly take the 30min drive here just to satisfy our craving.
Just left this bakery and the two women working were amazing! They gave my toddler a plain roll of bread and they gave us a sample of a fresh sweet treat. Everything we bought was delicious as well.Food: 5/5
This may be an odd review since I’ve never been to the store, but my family visiting from California brought ube pandesal from this shop and it is the best thing I’ve ever tasted. I am not joking when I was so sad when I finished the bag - if there was a store on the East Coast I’d be there every week. Absolutely delicious and will have to visit when I visit Cali!
I’m just visiting and I love that there is this place where I can pick up desserts that taste like home. Price may be more than average but it’s worth the yummy goodness.
Filipino bakery, not the frosting cake kind, more bread items or steamed rice flour. Pan de sal is a favorite toast it with butter. Pan de ube is tasty. Senioritas are good. There are many favorites to choose from. Leche flan is particularly yummy, pastillas de leche is particularly dangerous tend to eat too much, chicken empanada is nice as well as turon banana with langka. I have had their palabok as well. If you don't like lines, go early, although the line goes pretty fast. Cash only.
Puto flan we bought has gone bad, and it's disappointing...this could have probably prevented if it was properly stored it was next to the window - without cover from the sun. Also, highly suggest to at least have a date to when it was made/an exp.
I tried a lot of their Ube goodies. I think they were ok the Ube flavor wasn’t strong enough for my liking. I would recommend trying their Ube Roll.
