Home on range vibes got me like...=D!! This place is awesome with all the wide open spaces and views. Great for a walk/run/bike ride. There's lots of different stops you can make along the way including the arch, the log cabins, the Washington Monument replica, etc. - the list is extensive! There's plenty to read and learn as you see make the different stops. There's also a driving tour in case you just want to see place that way, but I recommend to park somewhere (plenty of parking throughout the park) and then start meandering around. There is also areas mowed down for a picnic or pick up field games. Great place for everyone! I love the views you get when you have a bit of elevation at some points, and if you're there when the sun is setting - it's stellar! The park is open during daylight (just the buildings close by 5PM), so go and take some time to enjoy the arena! It's a National Historic Park so have your passports ready and get ready to explore!

Plenty of interesting demonstrations on the tour. Although Washington Chapel is not on the tour as it is not National Park property do NOT miss stopping there. I won't spoil the surprise but a few steps inside the door and you'll know what I'm talking about. The Arch is a stunning site too. The visitor center is small but take a few minutes to look at the displays there. There are excavated artifacts that should be seen. If the whether is nice a tour on foot is possible and would probably be more fun than the tour bus.

Valley Forge was very interesting to see and learn how George Washington's troops galvanized and became a fighting force over the winter. Seeing the cabins they built and lived in puts our fortunes in perspective. While I have the utmost respect for our military, I must say life is now much easier. These were the ones that really put it all on the line and sacrificed like no others paving the way to our freedom we enjoy today!

Beautiful walkways, historical area, museum is educational. Good souvenir shop. Friendly staff and National park rangers. Love how well maintained everything is. This is a must do for us.

Also I have not visited the park recently it is very well-maintained. There is a biking / walking trail throughout the whole park. Sometimes the park rangers give historical information / tours. In the middle of the park is the Valley Forge Chapel. This particular plot of ground is owned by the church. Carilion concerts are given throughout the summer. Sometimes there are chores to go up to see the carillon.
