This mall is honestly one of my favorite places in Dallas! There are so many great things to do and see here, I don't even know where to start. The AMC theater has some of the best ticket prices I've ever seen and most of the time there are complementary 1/2 full buckets of popcorn in the seats waiting for you when you get there. Luckily you will never have to worry about falling over when walking down the aisles. The floors have a special sticky resin that holds your feet firmly in place so you won't/can't fall over! Another great attraction is Santa's Workshop! They have put together a wonderful display of magic and whimsy for kids of all ages to enjoy. If you find yourself wanting to escape the heat during the summer, look no further because this baby is here year round! Lastly, I'd like to commend the parking. There is always somewhere to park so I never have to worry about walking to far to get back to my car. If you can't find a spot in the front row you can honestly just turn your car off and leave it right where it is. That's what a lot of people seem to do so I'm sure it's allowed. Please please please take the trip out to Valley View and treat yo self!

The movie theater is super cheap. Most of the mall is closed down, so if you want to go see a movie without worrying about crowds, this is the place to go. The only time I've ever seen the movie theater crowded was during Black Panther, and even then it was just the theater seats that were full, the lines and the people in the mall were still small. If you're an introvert who still wants to go to the movies, go here! The only downside is that the screens and the sound system is old, so if you want the full crystal clear experience you still have to pay more and fight the crowds at a more modern movie theater.

I love the prices here, but it's definitely a discount experience. The theaters are usually clean and in good repair, and the screens and sound systems are just fine. But the restroom today was unclean. Some of the sinks didn't work, either. And, the Valley View mall is mostly empty. So, I will continue to go when I'm in the mood for an affordable movie. But, if you're looking for a luxury experience, look elsewhere.

I came on a Wednesday, first time here. I almost turned around cause I thought I was at the wrong place. The part that I came in inn looked demolished! I made it around to the back where AMC theatre is, and I'm soooo glad I came. It's a throwback for days I truly miss. The bathroom was immaculate, the sparse work crew were very friendly. It's really a quaint theatre. LOVED IT!!!

I almost hate to write a one star review of this place, but it really is pretty bad. It’s shocking that it hasn’t been torn down yet, much less that it’s still open to the public. If you have any sort of fascination with abandoned buildings, do not miss seeing this before it’s torn down. The AMC is still showing movies, and is generally the only thing open. A good 3/4 of the mall is completely boarded off and inaccessible. Very few of the street lights in the parking lot were functioning, I would not feel very safe on my own after dark.
