I stayed at Value Inn in July 2013 for one night and wouldn't have stayed then if it hadn't been late and I was too exhausted to go searching through Asheboro for other pet-friendly accommodations. The ONLY positive side about this motel is that they are pet friendly but then why wouldn't they be when you consider the fact that the place is absolutely filthy and there's nothing an animal could do to make that fact worse! If you're looking to score a drug deal or a prostitute then this is the place for you...not me....so families and decent folk BEWARE! Cheap is not always the safest or cleanest way to go.

I stay here in September 2013 room 122, all i can say is wow.  The reviews are right this is an horrible motel to stay. These rooms are nasty. Inside the room bath was nasty,  hairs in the toilet stains of stuff everywhere in the floor, walls, door,  curtain dirty.  Shower dispenser is like for kids,  I'm 5'11" and it reach top of my chest.  Outside is nasty you can see the stairs so much dirt accumulated and in the floor is just disgusting.  Seems like they clean with dirty mops & rags.

At first the motel looked abandoned, at check in the desk attendant was very nice, put me in a room.... the room was clean, but the bed was like a brick. Pool was green, very poorly kept grounds, people walking around drinking outside everywhere..... after getting settled in went to take a shower and NO HOT WATER.  called the desk and the person there said they were trying to get in touch with the owner. I said OK.  watched TV for an hour then decided to get on my computer since they offered free wi-fi....put in the password that was given to me, and the computer would not connect, said problem with router??? So I called the desk and told them they needed to reset their internet router and of course she didn't know how, said she would let the owner know. I asked what he said about the hot water, she said he still had not called her back!!! I asked if I could be moved to another room and she did.... I packed all my belongings and walked to the adjoining building and got settled in, and went to take a shower..... Still NO HOT WATER in that building either!!!.... I then went up to the desk, they still had not been able to get in touch with the owner, I then asked for a refund so I could go stay somewhere else, but they said  since I booked online I had to go through the booking company to get my money back!!! I cancelled the reservation I had for the next night and got a refund for it, but am still trying to get a refund for the first night. I went just down the street and stayed at the Randolph inn. Was about $10 more a night, but if you stay multiple nights they will knock off about $5 a night,,,and it seemed safer, bed was more comfortable too. The only thing good about the Value Inn motel was the room was clean, and the lady at the desk was nice.....but that was all!!!! I do no recommend staying here EVER!!!!

Well first of all the pictures online are VERY decieving! Looks like a pretty decent hotel so I decided to go for it. I didnt expect a high class hotel for 49 a night. We checked in and went around to our room to find what appeared to be a drug deal in action, and also a prostitute making her rounds. Mind you I am with my husband and 2 children. and our car was parked where we would not be able to see it. We pulled back around front and I complained, she switched rooms and it was ok at first. The other half to our party comes 2 hours later to be checked in to a room, they open the door to an already 'lived' in room. Booze bottles all over the place, clothing strewn about, beds unmade, an overall disaster. This happened twice! We called expedia and hotel refused us a refund but expedia overrode it and gave us credit and booked us at the comfort inn! WELL WORTH THE EXTRA $50 and now the kids get in the zoo for free!!! THIS IS NOWHERE I WOULD RECOMMEND! NOT EVEN A STRAY DOG!!!!!!!
