We have been coming to Vancouver Veterinary hospital for my dog and cat for more than 7 years. They are one of the best veterinary in East Vancouver. My dog just had her dental cleaning done last week. It shows how caring and professional they are toward every animal.

Dr. Philip Wolfman and the staff at the Vancouver Veterinary Hospital are amazing, and I’d like to leave my review here as both a thank you and to let other cat and dog! owners know how great of a clinic this is.  After some sudden and alarming symptoms with my little fur baby, Sally, I brought her in to the clinic for an exam and testing. Dr. Philip Wolfman was extremely calm, empathetic and understanding, amidst an emotional circumstance, and really demonstrated care and compassion towards Sally and myself. He was clear and informative as to what the next steps are, provided a few different options and avenues for moving forward regarding testing/examinations, and ensured there were no surprises or questions.  It was easy for me to see the genuine care and love towards animals that Dr. Philip Wolfman exhibited during my visit with Sally. What I’m even more appreciative of is that he even took the time to follow up with me personally after the vet visit to ensure that Sally was going OK and responding well to the medication she was prescribed, and he took the time to discuss the lab results with me in a way that any regular non-medical professional could understand.  Although a medication adjustment was required, Sally responded well to the subsequent prescription, and she has been living her best life, and has been extremely happy and healthy since!  A huge thank you once again to Dr. Philip Wolfman and the rest of the team at Vancouver Veterinary Hospital for providing such a wonderful experience from start to finish, considering the circumstances that brought us into the clinic.  Lots of love and blessings.

The vet techs and vets are great and offer excellent quality of care. I’ve spoken to several receptionists and each of them did their job but in a fairly cold manner.  I’d call about my dog bleeding because his toenail fell off and the receptionist would start confirming my dog’s vaccination history and schedule without so much as an “I’m sorry that’s happening,” like lady if this is relevant please at least tell me how because I am stressed!!

They were so great here. The staff is so friendly and personable. As well as managing the countless patients coming at the same time. We have a nervous and sometimes reactive dog, and they made sure the lobby was clear for us to head out. Would definitely recommend this vet clinic!

Staff are nice and the veterinarian was more than a delight to be around. My cat is usually quite timid around people but surprisingly, she was very calm and didn't threaten to claw nor hiss at anyone during our appointment.

I feel confident in the services and prices at this vet.  Yesterday i took my cat for some teeth extractions and they quoted me anywhere from 1400 to 3200$ depending on what needed to be done.   My final bill was 1100$  ... a nice surprise...

Since we transferred from another clinic to this place, my dog Pebbles has been here several times due to some issues. Even though we saw different doctors each time, the veterinarians and assistants are usually very friendly. Today, when my dog accidentally fractured his tooth, they empathized with our urgency and allowed us to see the vet earlier. Dr. Cheung and assistant Tania took care of my dog during the examination. They didn't get annoyed by my dog’s restlessness and anxiety. With Tania’s help, we waited much more relaxed until the doctor arrived. I greatly appreciated Dr. Cheung's professionalism and compassionate approach in caring for my dog. we’re so happy to have found this place .

Thank you to all the kind and gentle folks at Vancouver Veterinary Hospital. We have been clients here for over 20 years and we and our beloved pets have always received excellent, tender loving care. Our sincere thanks to Dr. Philip Wolfman and Jennifer who spent so much time working with our little Ecco. We miss her deeply, but know she received the very best care from you. Take good care until we see you again.

Dr. Amy is incredible! The vet tech Jenny as well. They are so welcoming and nurturing to our cats. Our cats are indoor cats who aren't great with new places and strangers, but Amy and Jenny showed them so much kindness and patience. You can really feel their love on animals and it puts our girls and us as pet owners at ease. Would absolutely recommend this Vet to our friends! I've been coming to this clinic for a few years and have never had a bad experience or an unfriendly staff member.

Both my dogs went through surgery. The process was very efficient and fast . Amazing staff help throughout,  clearly explaining the cause and treatments. My dogs have recovered really well after the surgery following the guidelines by our veterinarian. Best place for pet care and emergencies.   Thank you
