Story

Vandalia Range and Armory is a family owned, and operated business established in 2006. VRA is a full-retail firearms store with (20) 25-yard pistol lanes, and (5) 100-yard high powered rifle lanes.

We instruct the NRA first steps course, Ohio Concealed Weapons course (CCW), Ohio Retired Police Officers re-certification, and our very own Shooting Technique Advancement Course (S.T.A.C).

Our goal at Vandalia Range and Armory is to provide a clean, professional shooting facility with a large inventory of firearms and accessories. We want to help educate and instruct those who are interested in firearms while providing the best in customer service.

We host a "Silent Saturday" once a month to promote NFA items such as suppressors, and SBR's.

Overall an excellent place to go whether you're new to firearms or experienced. The range masters are not only attentive to the things going on around them, they are also very friendly and willing to help if need be. Both the Range and Retail side of things are well kept, clean and welcoming. Moving further into this, the Range is very clean and has updated technology that's far superior and safer than other local ranges for those worried about it. As far as the retail side goes I couldn't complain either. The prices are great, the staff is helpful and the selection is vast as well. While all the staff were very helpful and attentive, I'd like to specifically mention a young man by the name of Alex. He took the time to reassure on my decisions for a firearm and also assisted with Several other questions. Once again, if you're looking for a clean and welcoming firing range/firearm retail store, I'd HIGHLY recommend Vandalia Range and Amory for anyone.

First thing to say is the staff is knowledgeable. You can come in with all forms of questions and they have you covered. The indoor ranges are best in the area. They have a great selection of fire arms to rent. Plus they're selection is great.

Went to zero my scope after changing the rings. Prompt service, friendly and clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. I always have good experiences there.

Their service is excellent, with a friendly and knowledgeable staff. Their selection is very good and their prices are good too. The range is decent, although the physical barriers between stalls are not bulletproof steel, but just noise blocking plastic. So be sure the person next to you knows which way to aim! The range officers are also very helpful. All things considered, VRA is one of the best stores and ranges in the Dayton area. Just know their price on ammo for rentals is outrageous. $17.50 for a box of 9mm Blazer Brass, which can usually be found for $11 in stores. Other ranges are usually $14 which is already steep, but VRA definitely costs. Their rental selection is great but Point Blank and Fox Loft have better overall rental programs.

Great place to sight in at 100yrds. Range master helped my buddy sight his Ar 556 new eotech sight and helped me with my iron sights very helpful worth the money just for the help he gave us. The targets have a screen you watch and lets you know where you hit and keeps it marked untill you clear it with a push of a button. Very nice for sighting in.
