Chef Milena and her mother make an amazing team, but more importantly, make amazing cakes!   I called her from NC asking for a graduation cake to surprise my daughter in Florida.  I sent her a picture of what I wanted.  We spoke a few times fine tuning exactly what I pictured her creation would be, and she did not disappoint.  The cake looked and tasted wonderful.  She even met me at the bakery on a Sunday to accommodate my schedule for pickup, although they are not open on Sundays.   

There's no doubt that whenever we need a cake, Vanilla's Cakes and Desserts will definitely be our go to place!

One of the best cakes I have EVER had. My Husband and I are not cake fans at all! However, this cake changed our minds. It was delicious and had the perfect texture. We decided on getting different flavored tiers. We got the carrot cake and the lemon cake with key lime frosting. SO GOOD!! Our guests would not stop raving about it.  I recommend them to EVERYONE.

First i will say that Vanilla’s canes and bakery did respond fast which was awesome. HOWEVER we were communicating back and forth about a grooms cake i wanted for a surprise. I sent pictures and thought we were on the same page. Well when i seen the cake in person on pick up day i was SO disappointed the cake looked horrible. I expressed how unhappy i was. And all they could say to me was first “if you don’t like it then don’t take it” but at that point i had to take it because it was for that day and it was a surprise for a big rehearsal dinner party we were having. Then she said “you may not like how it looks however once you taste it you won’t be disappointed. This is our most popular flavor”  i guess we could look forward to a good tasting cake if anything. We take a bite into the cake and threw the rest away not one person at our party at an entire slice the flavor was HORRIBLE. Even my kids didn’t eat it and they eat any kind of cake. I literally had to cry over it. Huge huge huge disappointment. I have two cakes to order for this month and i was so excited to maybe having found a new bakery to use but i will never order with them again!  Do your research before ordering from vanillas caked and desserts.

This bakery has an amazing mother daughter team! Chef Milena can literally make any cake you want. She is the miss cake boss of southwest Florida. Her designs are beautiful and the cakes are delicious. I especially love the mini desserts because I am a cheesecake junkie and they do all kinds of flavors. However my number 1 has to be there mini banana pies. They have cookies and cupcakes as well. Nothing at Vanillas will dissapoint. She even has cinnamon rolls and Brazilian coffee to grab n go on your ride into work! Any negative review on this page is clearly because they didnt know what they wanted or because they didnt want to spend money and wanted something for nothing this bakery is amazing !!!

Milena was very welcoming and thoughtful during our consultation. She produced a beautiful 50th Anniversary cake that my inlaws will not soon forget.
