Inconsistent work with hairdresser. I had one haircut with her that was absolutely phenomenal, several that were just okay, one that was uneven and needed to be touched up, and the last one was basically a disaster. Also, she styled my hair so that I looked like a bag lady when I walked out. I was speechless and didn't even complain. I just went home and stuck my head under the faucet in the bathroom sink and called it a day. Plus, I found it offensive that she seemed to want to make a big deal about not charging me her new higher rate. Really, I shouldn't have paid for it at all. I just wasn't in the mood to bicker.
 
I'll add that the hairdresser I see did a very nice job on my teenage stepson's long hair, and he did feel really good about himself when he left.

It's difficult to find a hairdresser who actually knows how to deal with curly hair. Hair dressers will say yes they know how to cut and style curly hair, but what they really mean is they'll do it, but they don't really know the optimal way to deal with it. I didn't want to have to leave town to get my hair cut, but I'm going to have to switch to a specifically curly hair oriented salon now.

I must say that the receptionists have always been excellent - very helpful and accommodating. The shop itself is attractively appointed, and clean so far as i can see, but it's nothing special.

Had my hair cut with Antonia today!! She did an absolute beautiful cut! My hair is thick and curly and can be a challenge to blowout! The girl nailed it! My hair looked gorgeous! Professional environment and beautiful salon! Pricing is good! I would highly recommend!!

I always reccomend Vanity Salon to anyone looking for quality services close to home without going to a pretentious salon where you feel intimidated. I've been a customer of Anthony's (co-owner) for well over ten years. The staff are all friendly and amazing. Their dedication to learning and keeping abreast of the trends in the industry are second to none. So many amazing stylists and colorists to choose from! Anthony also helped me transition from long hair to bald to short hairstyles due to losing my hair to chemo. I don't know how I would have made it through that time without his expertise. He even created a beautiful hair style for my wedding a year post chemo, using my own hair! True talent runs deep at Vanity! I can also personally reccomend Alisha for cut and color. Look no further for your next service! Book today (or face having to wait! They're that good!)

Sam is amazing. She is a master craftsman and gives an amazing haircut. She listens to what is needed and gave me one of the best haircuts I ever received. I would totally recommend this salon they are first class. I brought my daughter for her graduation hair cut and they treated her so well. Can't say enough good things about this place
