My experience with this animal hospital was very confusing to me, I took my dog in as she was lethargic and throwing up after having over the counter flea meds applied to her and I also suspected that she had eaten some  diaper rash cream. She was given fluids and seemed to look better before I left her as she had to stay overnight. I got a call around 7 p.m. and was told that they thought she was in pain in the abdomen area and that they were going to give her pain meds, then around 5 a.m. I was told that she was coughing up blood.  I immediately raced to see her and was shocked to see her on a table with a tube hanging out of her mouth. I just wish the vet would have explained to me in layman terms what was going on, I did not go to Veternary school so I had no idea what she was talking about. I would still like someone to explain to me exactly what happened to Daisy in terms I can understand and why they think she passed away.  Don't get me wrong, the vets were very kind and compassionate, but I still am in shock and just want some answers that I can understand.  Hopefully someone will reach out to me from this clinic to explain.  Kudos to the front desk clerk Eunice, she is an incredible person, very kind and compassionate!!  thanks,  J. Augustine

This is an absolute scam. We took or cat there to fix problems with his private. We were than charged 2,500 for the operation. 1,700 up front. Not even a month later we are out the money and cat is still in pain and has to be put down. They took full advantage of a family in need. While my son was crying telling him we couldnt leave do get second opinion because the cat was in to much pain. Unless you have unlimited amount of cash and want your pet to die after than go see them. This has been very hard dealing with specially when Im currently suffering from ptsd and dont have the money to throw at this. Now we are out 2500 and still have to lose our per.

Our bulldog was having signs of a stroke that ended up being grand mal seizures. We called and rushed him to VCA Great Lakes. Upon arriving, they met us at the door and took him back immediately. 
Throughout the stay, they were very caring, helpful and super friendly from the front to the back. He was admitted to the ICU and they had no problems with us visiting him. They also were great with giving us updates and guiding us to "what's next".
They took wonderful care of him and we are very pleased with their services.  Their level of care  is high quality and exceeded our expectations. 
Any emergency vet is going to be expensive --- they actually over estimated our quote by almost $700 and gave us our money back when we picked him up!

Took the pup in today. His face swelled up like a balloon all of a sudden due to an allergic reaction. The staff and doctor were great! Thank You guys!

They took great care of my dog, Eloise! Even though she wasn't in need of extremely urgent care, they cared for her in a timely manner. And it wasn't as expensive as I thought it would be.
