The service here is usually really good. Nice cashiers. Only thing I wish was different was the breakfast sandwiches sit under this heat lamp that really does not work well. The sandwiches are always cold. Nobody wants a cold breakfast sandwich. They should really invest in a better heat lamp to keep them warm.

It's an ok gas station, but it's got some outstanding boudin, beef jerky, smoked sausage etc. . Their deli rocks if you are looking for that special ingredient. We use the smoked sausage to add a Smokey flavor to our creations. Personally their boudin is the standard by which I measure all others. They have booked peanuts, hog head cheese, taso etc. Their deli is worth checking out.

This is Veillon's food market in Galvez.  While they are a gas station they are locally known for their butcher counter where they have some very nice boudin, breakfast sandwiches, meats and other food items.   Great place to get some local flavor.

Today i went in to make a purchase after i filled up my car with gas using my debit VISA card, which came up to 30 bucks, it was very hot outside and had been working in the heat all day, when i go inside to get a cold drink. I went to checkout and it came to 1.79 and i handed her my VISA debit card, and she told me a limit of 5$ is required, and i told her ..no it isnt. and we went back and forth, until i just left, so i got really upset, went home and printed out many pages from MSNBC, ABC, etc showing that VISA and MASTERCARD holders cant do that...straight from MSNBC website( "Merchants accepting Visa or MasterCard credit or debit cards are not allowed to set a minimum amount for using the card; that is a violation of the merchant agreement.") Also a few friends of mine went in and purchased gas without a card, lets say 30 dollars worth of gas and went in and got a drink, they were charged tax on everything!!!! and did not know about till later..this did not bother them that much since it was a couple of dollars, but for me , this made me mad...they are nothing but rude people that are scamming the working people out of money, i called and sent a complaint to VISA and i hope everyone does this. I am very unhappy about my experience.
