Really great food! The flounder bites were piping hot and so filling, that we had to get boxes for the rest of our meal We both ordered shrimp -I had blackened and my husband had fried. Both were great. Really good onion rings, as well. Server was excellent. We didn't order any drinks, but the drink menu looked promising. They had the Braves game on all, which was also nice. 10/10 would eat here again.
We arrived around 12:30 anticipating a place with a cool vibe. It was not. There was only 1 other couple there which was surprising on a Saturday at lunch time. I first noticed the door glass and all the windows looked so dirty. The beautiful hardwood floors had lots of dirty blobs stuck to them all over. We walked in and had to adjust to the darkness, which was fine, it could make for a really nice experience. My husband had to use his phone to see the menu in our booth. I feel the darkness was more so to hide the grime of the place than to create a vibe. After being seated, the table felt sticky..it happens, so, I wiped it down and went to the restroom. As I entered the area where the restrooms are, it smelled strongly of urine. I proceeded to the women's bathroom and upon entering, I wondered..."If the places the public sees, like the windows, table, and floors are so nasty I'm concerned what the kitchen is like." I went back to the table and my husband had ordered spinach dip. I told him my concerns and he felt the same. We decided we would only eat the dip and go. I was very surprised to see the Heath department rating was 100. I wasn't close enough to see the date it was completed. Perhaps the kitchen was cleaner than I supposed, but having worked in the food industry before, I felt it was highly unlikely. It just didn't add up. Maybe staffing shortages mean things aren't cleaned as well..who knows. Then please hire a Cleaning company. I only got pictures of the bathroom but it's indicative of the grime I saw everywhere in the restaurant. It desperately needs a deep clean. The dip was very good, the chips hot, fresh, and crispy. Perhaps eveything is delicious; but for those of us who like a clean restaurant, it was not inviting to stay and try at all. Not much service was needed, but our server was polite and prompt.
Amazing steak! We came here previously on a Tuesday and were sad to discover that they only serve steak Thursday - Sunday. So… we returned. Tonight I ordered the filet and it was stellar. Perfectly cooked to medium as I had requested. My asparagus was wonderful without any chewy/stringy parts, the mashed potatoes were delusions. My fiancé had wings that were crispy the hot honey was amazing and his burger was flavorful and delicious. His sweet potato fries were also crispy and delicious. All around - a great dinner. And it was very well priced. Two meals, an app, two alcoholic drinks, and we spent under $60. Amazing. We travel fulltime and visit restaurants all over the country and I can solidly say that they do it right here,
We had a great experience today for lunch while here. Our server Taylor was phenomenal!! She made recommendations for all of us, kept our drinks full, and was very attentive. I had the Buffalo Bird Sandwich and it was great as well!! We will definitely be back, and asking for Taylor!!!
First let me say the food was above average. We were in after 2 pm and only 2 other tables were occupied. It took them 10 minutes to take our initial order. Then it took almost 40 minutes for it to arrive. Terrible service. Very cold inside. Very dark. Not a great atmosphere overall.
I love their lunch menu, and the service is out of this world. The food is hands down the best place around. Avery is awesome :friendly, super fast, and constantly checking on your needs! You will not be disappointed!
Wonderful friendly staff, service is great, food varieties are awesome! Our sweet server Taylor, has a great attitude and beautiful smile. Her efficiency makes going out to eat a great experience.
The happy hour has good prices. $3 well drinks, $2 wine and beer selections. The spinach dip had a homemade taste to it. I had the cheeseburger. I requested medium-well and it was definitely well-done but it still had a good charbroiled flavor without being dried out. The server was really polite and attentive. I'd definitely visit this restaurant again.
Just left the restaurant from having my birthday dinner and it was great! I highly recommend asking for Katie to serve you. She went above and beyond. I will definitely be returning to see Katie for another delicious ribeye.
Excellent. We were a party of 10 and everyone's food was superb. We will definitely be back. This is a favorite college Hangout in the later hours.
