Veranda
"From veteran restaurateur David Rabin American Bar, Sona, Veranda offers an indoor dining experience beneath a retractable glass pergola perched above the intersection of Tribeca and Soho. Enjoy globally inspired American fare for dinner, or grab a cocktail at The Bar at Veranda with a patio overlooking Grand Street or, in season, the lush garden terrace setting of The Back Bar, with its own entrance at Sixth Avenue. In enjoyable weather, Veranda's window-walls and glass ceiling retract to create an entirely open-air experience. However, from October through March, the atrium setting feels cozy and protected from the elements surrounded by greenery and twinkling lights, while heated yurt dining is available outdoors."

Very beautiful and romantic venue. I hope to come back here on a date for sure! Came here for a girls night before we went to the bars and it was the best way to start the evening. Drinks are delicious, love their Rose options. Bartenders were super friendly. Definitely make reservations and you won't be disappointed for sure.
Absolutely LOVED Veranda! The drinks are great, the decor is so cute, and the staff is made up of the nicest people I’ve ever encountered. Seriously, the hostess, bartenders, servers and manager were all incredible and went above and beyond to make our visit everything we could have hoped for and more. Will definitely be back soon.
Mussels where sooo good. Zucchini flowers stuffed and lightly fried were such a great appetizer. Drinks were ok but took a while to get to us. The rent out different parts of the restaurant leaving no areas for good pics won't return but it was a good experience.
Beautiful and cozy restaurant with superb service! The food were all delicious except for the beef linguine. The calamari, Octopus Skirt Steak & dessert were perfect!
Rented out the Signature Room in the basement of Veranda for my intimate wedding reception of about 26 people. Planning for it was quite stressful as there were lots of changes in staffing over the last year. I might have spoken to about 3 people over the course of 5-6 months trying to finalize details. Finally we got every thing settled about a week or so out of the wedding. I had tried the food previously and I knew that the food was great based on that experience so was looking forward to a delicious meal. However, at the event, many of the bread pieces of the egg sandwich were not grilled but actually BURNT. This was very disappointing as I had tasted the sandwich before and it was not like this at all. I couldn’t eat the bread and jsut ate the filling. The pasty chef did an amazing job with my special request for a cake that was a Hawaiian special called Queen Emma coconut, guava and lilikoi however the cake we were given to cut was almost impossible to cut, as there were half figs covering the entire top and really difficult fondant on the side to cut through. We were also promised some cake to take home and freeze for our one year anniversary but never saw that cake. Overall, the service of the crew that day was good and smooth, but there were just some details that were frustrating throughout the day. But really nice space for an intimate gathering.
First time here and was surprised I didnt find this before. The place looks cute and well lit. I went on a Sunday for brunch. Food is ok and service could have been better disappointing, but it's worth the experience for it ambience. We got: Yogurt parfait - decent; French toast - simple but tasty; Avocado toast - ok.
We had our new year dinner there. The food was not amazing, the cocktails were not too many options but the environment was nice and the service was good, 150usd per person, relatively expensive but not impressive.
Stunning place. To drink ask for La Caravelle Mimosa. To eat we ordered Shakshuka, and we did not like it, not made with fresh tomato. Service is okay, need to improve.
This is the "kitchen". A basement illuminated by a single lap, rounded by chairs and packages which were delivered and carried from the street like the packs of bottled water. The waiter touched the food the same hand that touches your money and debit card. Sounds and looks like a horror story but it's the kitchen where this psycho chef works and it's supposed to "supervise". This is the perfect place to invite your worst enemy and you want to make sure he won't survive
Went here for breakfast/brunch. Ambiance and decor is amazing! And they have a KAWS statue in the below level of the restaurant. Honestly, food was mediocre, and you can probably get better and tastier food elsewhere. However, the dining experience and service was great.
