Went to see Kenon to get my new ring sized. We made an appointment and he did this amazing work in front of us while we waited. What a fun experience. Kenon is personable, Professional and very skilled. He even let my husband experiment with his labs laser welder! A truly enjoyable evening! Thank you Kenon, we will be back!

I have worked with Kennon Young of Vermont Gem Lab now for six years.  He has rebuilt, remade, created, repaired and sold family jewelry for me.  No one, in my 49 years in Vermont, has had the expertise, the creativity, and the perseverance to research antique metals, stones, settings and to successfully bring loved items safely back to life and wear ability.  Kennon Young is a master Gemologist and Jeweler in every sense of the word.  His patience, positive gently manner with clients, and his genuine excitement with what he does are unmatched in Vermont.  I highly recommend him for custom work, antique refurbishing, or finding a new owner for jewels that no longer fit ones lifestyle.

Ken was so patient and helpful on the phone and then in person to resize my engagement ring - it took him half an hour and he showed us what he was doing each step of the way which was very interesting - he is clearly a very skilled and passionate craftsman. We were very impressed how perfect the ring looked afterwards, you couldn't tell it had been resized at all. Ken explained the use of the laser makes this much more precise. The price was also more competitive than what other jewelers quoted us. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for jewelry or interested in repairs or ring resizing!

I bought my bezel set diamond ring from Kennon after my original ring was lost in Lake Michigan. The buying experience was fantastic and I absolutely adore my vintage inspired ring!

Ken is extremely knowledgeable and was willing to offer his advice to me in the process of replacing a missing diamond in my fiancé's engagement ring. He worked with me along the way, quoting me on the degree my tab was running me for the necessary and measurable work that needed to be done on the ring itself in order to insure the ring would last in the long run. He tightened the prongs that needed adjusting, and triple checked other prongs on the ring as well. He topped off his on-the-spot service (all in a reasonable amount of time and even moreso a reasonable price) with a complimentary cleaning. I appreciated Ken's hospitality and his patience. It is clear that he has a passion for his work and a pride for making his customers happy. I will be returning for future advice and maintenance for sure!
