By choosing Von Bargens for your important jewelry purchases, you are supporting a family owned and operated, independent jewelry business that believes in and has built a business on the importance of beauty and art in our lives.

Von Bargens began in 1975 when John Von Bargen chose to follow the improbable dream of opening a jewelry store with $300 in tools and $100 in silver. With a desire to use his hands to create art and to live in a beautiful part of the world, John opened his first store in Killington, VT.

Outgrowing this location, Von Bargens relocated to Springfield, VT in 1978 and in 1986 and 1987 respectively, expanded to include locations in Stratton and Burlington, VT.John's daughter Julie and her husband Jason joined the family business in 2003, opening a fourth Von Bargens location in Hanover, NH and a fifth virtual location at www.VonBargens.com.

Now entering our fourth decade in business, we still aim to bring art, beauty and romance into the lives of our employees, clients and communities. We manufacture our own fine jewelry collection, as well as align ourselves with the most talented jewelry artisans who share the Von Bargens passion for quality and design.
