I spoke with Dr Howard today regarding our English Mastiff that has been diagnosed with Wobbler's syndrome.   His receptionist answered the phone.  She was professional, courteous and asked me to hold for Dr Howard.   He not only took the time to speak with me but took 20 minutes to review information that I had found online about alternative procedures.  I sent him a link and he went through the information and had a conversation regarding the procedures and it's validity.  I found him patient,  open-minded and on point.  In this day and age this in of itself is a rare experience.  He gave me suggestions as to how to proceed as well as a referral to a Doctor at Tufts Veterinary School.   There was no benefit for him for taking the time out of his day to speak with me.  That speaks volumes to the gentleman's character.  I would use his practice in a heartbeat.
