Been coming to Vern's for years for water and ice. Their water is the best tasting. They also serve Thrifty ice cream which I've loved since childhood. I also Love that they play K-Love in the store, it's refreshing!

Weird, dingy, little ice shop around the corner from the market. Went a couple times and had no issues and their ice is relatively affordable.  However, I recently received horrible customer service by the owner and the very strange acting cashier who seemed like she was on drugs.  After that interaction I'd rather pay $10 extra for ice a week at a gas station then deal with Vern's motley crew of strange rudeness and their damp den of depression.  I left you some cash in the tip drawer after the purchase and walked out since you obviously care more about minimal amounts of cash than your customers.

Vern’s has always been my go to place after I found them about a year Ago the lady with the black hair is amazing and always takes great of everyone who walks in and out and Kevin who just started a couple weeks ago was extremely helpful and kind and even helped me take my water to my car since I was carrying 3 5 gallon jugs they also have the best prices in the valley when you buy a water card

Absolutely LOVE this place! Always a pleasant experience with their wonderful staff. It's always clean but it is a bit of a smaller fitting space back towards the Alkaline faucet. Their Alkaline water being the reason I have become such a loyal customer! It has only ever been an issue when staff needs to get in the back but it doesn't really bother me I just don't want to be in their way. Regardless If you want great tasting well trusted water & the best prices in the Valley.. Vern's Water Well is the Top Spot to go!

My family has been coming here since we moved to Arizona to get water. I feel that in the past few months the water quality has decreased... Every once in a while we would get some off-tasting water, but recently it has been every single visit. For the past couple of months the water has varied from tasting a little bit strange to borderline undrinkable. Very sad to see how the quality has changed since this is a very accessible and friendly place...

First time coming here and I will not be returning.  They are very nice, so I'm writing this hoping they take the review to heart. This place is FILTHY!  It was so dirty I bought 1 jug just to save face and got the heck out of there.  Owner even looked disheveled. I didn't want to touch anything and I don't trust that I can get clean water from a dirty faucet.  Vern, if you find that you are losing money, it's not the economy, it's the quality/condition of your store. Hope you can make some changes.

This place deserves nothing less than five stars in my opinion. I talked to the owner and he personally helped me fill up my gallon jugs with alkaline water. I was feeling kind of clueless because it was my first time there but I can confidently say from the experience I had that it won’t be my last visit. I was offered a great deal for a sort of refill card which I will be purchasing next time I’m in for the discount it affords. The prices are already excellent but with the card they’re even better. Three more regular customers walked in after me and they all had cards and were welcomed and treated respectfully and like they mattered! That sort of customer interaction is super important for me. The store was clean and the folks were friendly. I can’t say enough good about it.

This place is dirtyyyyy.  Seriously. Doesn’t seem welcoming at all with people all over the place not even working. Walked inside and the lady that was sitting outside comes running in with more energy i’ve ever seen and not in a good way. Crazy to me that she has a job but it doesn’t surprise me at this establishment.  Sorry but customer service here is not good so if you need ice just go somewhere else. Plenty of ice shops near this one that gives quality service and ice for the same price if not better. Check out the one by Hungry Howies on 67th and Bell. They are great.

Great tasting water and ice. Which my family is very picky on water. They also have ice cream, my sons favorite is the bubble gum! Staff is also very friendly and helpful. Always feel welcome.
