Your review was just brought to our attention. We realize you had written it just after your loss and before we had spoken. We can't tell you how heartbroken we are for your loss of your sweet dog. We spent every second of her time with us on the ambulance watching her very closely and touching her to make sure she was as comfortable as could be. As we discussed, she was critically ill when we were asked to take her to Tampa on oxygen- she couldn't be outside of oxygen even for a few seconds, and even in her oxygen cage at the hospital was using a lot of effort to breathe. We were called to take her to another hospital in Tampa because she required more specialty care and expertise than what her current hospital could provide. We were concerned about her condition and the manner in which she was breathing and it was agreed that she would have some sedation prior to the trip- this did make her breathe more comfortably. She was watched very carefully the entire time and had a comfortable transport the majority of the trip. We made record time- only an hour and 20 minutes. When we were 20 minutes away, her effort increased slightly, but she was still comfortable. There was no change in her status until we were making our final turn into the receiving hospital, she didn't want to lift her head up. We ran her in, still on oxygen. While trying to intubate her, the emergency vet had great difficulty, stating that her airway seemed obstructed both at the top and at the bottom- this is what gave her such difficulty breathing. Seeming to have some type of airway obstruction was the reason we were given at the origin hospital as to why she was being moved (along with possibly a cardiac condition). We were heartbroken to hear that she ultimately did not survive. We commit ourselves to being able to give pets a chance of special care and a chance of survival in circumstances in which they may not have a chance (in subsequent discussions with the original vet, she felt that your dog would have passed in just a couple of hours had she stayed at that location). We only make transports between hospitals and specialty care under direction and instructions from Veterinarians and we handle our patients with the kindest, most loving eyes and hands.Your cost for the transport was only $300. That covered 4 hours outside of our normal service area with two people and an hour and a half of oxygen, the remainder of your bill was hospital charges. We continue to hold you and your family in our thoughts and prayers for your loss. Please know that during her time with us she was handled with kind and loving hands

My dog was picked up in Sarasota (BluePearl Animal Hospital very much alive and delivered to BluePearl Animal Hospital in Tampa "minutes from death" (the vets's words). Yes, she died there. Nobody can tell me what happened to her while in transport. And this cost me $5000.00. They should do the right thing and reach out to me and explain exactly what happened.

I own an AirBnB property and a guest's elderly dog tragically passed away in the back yard of the property. Cheryl was extremely supportive and kind to the distraught guests and also to me. She explained the process clearly of taking the dog away to be cremated and made an otherwise horrific experience much more bearable for everyone involved. Thank you so much for offering this amazing service in Sarasota - we are truly blessed to have you here in our community! RIP, Chubs...

I recently lost my best friend and out of all the negatives that sorrounded this week these guys were the one positive. They treated my Sammy with the upmost respect. While being patient and so professional with me. Just great people. I wish i could rate higher than 5 Star because they deserve more. Thank you guys for what you do!

Can't say enough about Chris and the guys in Pinellas County. They went above and beyond the call of duty when helping me get my dog Bear to the vet twice. They were here quickly and transported with such care and compassion. Unfortunately the second time we did not get to bring Bear home. He passed at the vet. Chris was there for me helping with anything he could. Wonderful service these guys provide.
