The Michigan State University Veterinary Medical Center is eager to assist you and your local veterinarian in meeting your pet’s medical needs. Approximately 100 veterinarians have clinical appointments within the numerous specialty services offered by the Hospital. The Hospital also has a state of the art Emergency Critical Care Medicine Service that is open 24/7. Advanced diagnostic equipment such as MRI, CT, nuclear scintigraphy, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, cardiac catheterization, and endoscopy are available to assist our highly trained specialists to determine the exact source of your pet’s problem. The Hospital not only uses the latest technology, but also creates it. The Hospital combines its expertise with the empathetic culture of truly caring about you and your pet.

When our 2 year old puppy tore ligaments in his leg, our vet referred us here. They did a major surgery, implanting a large metal plate. The veterinarian doctors were as professional (and as expensive) as you'd expect a surgeon who treats humans to be. They cared for him and have allowed him to continue to play fetch for six years and counting!! It was a big sacrifice for us since we had to sell one of our cars, but we'd do it all over again in a second. For our new puppy, we got health insurance so we know we'll be able to afford emergencies in the future. Thank you, MSU for working a miracle on our baby!

You get what you pay for here. Pricey but they do a amazing job. Very comprehensive and the dermatologist Dr is amazing.

Our dog was bit by another dog and we weren't offered to just clean them would and take him home..instead to give xrays.blood work..and anything else they can add on to make a $1600 Bill for a little bite wound. It reminds me of the oil change places that try to stack items on your bill. It's a shame because parents pay 50k a year for their kids to be taught here then they scam the he'll outta customers on top of it. Disappointed like many other reviews because of the price gouging tactics.

Incredibly expensive.  They are quick to push expensivd treatment without even doing a proper diagnosis.  The vet just told is she could give us meds since she didn't think our puppy could orally take them. I had just formula fed the puppy before we took her in so yeah she can take fluids in her mouth.  Bunch of liars!

I have had both great and bad experiences here. Yes they are expensive and I have had a couple bad experiences with them, but I know that they have done their best to help my animals and continue to go there.
