My cat was vomiting and his chin was swollen.  I took him in and we were seen promptly and good care was given.  The doctor asked many questions and centered in on the most probable cause quickly.  He guessed that Billy had eaten a spider and the spider bit back.  He gave him two injections.  One for nausea and one for the allergic reaction to the bite.  Billy was fine.  The bill was $150.00 which I realize is high, but it was a Sunday afternoon and I just walked in and got excellent service.  I felt I got good value for the money.

Holy smokes, talk about a scam. These people take advantage of your love for your animal and charge absurd estimates for no work whatsoever. My dog got a minor puncture wound that needed stitches from playing in shallow water. A minor 1 inch cut that was particularly deep with no bleeding though. Was quoted nearly 1000 dollars to stitch him up under anesthesia. Doctor visited with him less than one minute. I thought vets got into this business for the love of animals. This guy is just a fascist capitalist ass.

Dishonest. Withheld pertinent info. Dog had blood in stools when we arrived home after 5. Vet closed. Took dog to this vet. Vet charges 2x for everything because it after hours. Ok, whatever. They want to hold dog for 2 nights, to run tests and treat. I refuse. I take dog home and monitor. take dog to home vet next day. Vet states "It is not unusual to find blood in dogs stools, for dogs colon are very vascular. He most likely is experiencing loose stools from a number of non-life threatening issues and it will pass. Lansing Vet Med Center withheld this info so they could hold our dog for 3 days and bill us $1700.00 for unnecessary assessment and treatment. Scammers

Took her to the Lansing Veterinary Medical Clinic on Tuesday night. They took x-rays and gave me the diagnosis of asthma. $300. Still she was not getting better.

Today took her to Patterson Veterinary Hospital. They instant my looked in her mouth and knew what was wrong. 3rd degree burns on her tongue meaning she got into some type of chemical. They took a to make sure she isn't bleeding internally from it and she is fine. Gave her medication and a script all for 70$

Do not go to this CLINIC!! 

I called them and they claimed that they did not see the burns on her tongue when she was there Tuesday night, but they didn't even look inside her mouth.

Took a stray there last night. She needed antibiotics and probably more diagnostic testing which the clinic recommended. However, prices were expensive so I opted out of the testing that could wait until Monday morning at my regular veterinarian office. The staff was fine with my decision and did not pressure me into anything unnecessary. I was especially impressed by the kindness of the vet tech. She was pleasant, knowledgeable, and I felt like she took time to answer our questions thoroughly and respectfully. Just wish I remembered her name so I could publicly thank her! Would recommend this clinic based on this experience.
