The folks at Veterinary Service Oregon are amazing. My goat breeder uses them, so it was a no-brainer to use them for my 3 wethered pet goats. I have only used them for annual exams and vaccines/vitamin injections, but they have been very professional and thorough. Even though I can tell that they are very busy, I don't ever have to worry about getting a call back in a reasonable amount of time. I don't look forward to the day we have an emergency, but I feel comforted knowing that my goats will be in the best of hands! Thanks Dr.Veeman and Dr.Skurdal!
I can't say enough positive things about all of the docs at Veterinary Services of Oregon. Specifically Dr Veeman and Dr Wustenberg. They have always been responsive and compassionate with our menagerie of livestock. Thank you for all that you do.

I have an 18 year old indoor cat that doesn’t tolerate car rides or vet visits anymore, and I was looking for a vet service that could come to my home to keep her more comfortable. Dr. Veeman worked me into his schedule and came by my house with another vet and they did a quick blood draw for my cat to check her levels and sent it to the lab for me. This will get sent to my regular vet so she doesn’t have to go in. I was so impressed with the kindness and gentleness of both vets as my little old lady put up quite a fuss and fought us all; Dr. Veeman gave her a light sedative and made she her heart sounded ok, and the entire time talked sweetly to her and gave her many pets. Really these people clearly care for animals and were so kind. I can’t recommend them enough!
We had our new Dorset sheep tested here and they said they have a good health.
All these guys are amazing, but especially Zach Turner! Dr. Tuner is absolutely wonderful, he explains everything going on in easy to understand terms and clearly goes the extra mile for his patients! All the vets in the office seem to work as a team so you get their collective knowledge. I have goats which are often hard to find vets well versed with. I’ve also not had trouble getting in to see them quickly which is hard to find w/vets anymore. I would not recommend anyone else to anyone seeking veterinary services!
We came in after our 7lb pomchi got into oatmeal raisin cookies and started displaying signs of acute renal failure. The staff was extremely kind, compassionate, and thorough. I was an emotional wreck, and the tech that brought Goby out to my vehicle unfortunately didn’t get her name, took the time to provide exceptional care, education, and reassurance. The terrible process of handling a fur baby emergency is so much more bearable when the staff members genuinely care.
I called Dr. Richard Veeman upon a recommendation from my coworkers when my livestock was attacked by two neighborhood dogs today. He immediately said yes and we brought my sheep in to see him within an hour and a half. My sheep Naomi had bad injuries to her hind end and tail. He quickly treated her, amputated her tail, stitched up gashes on her rear, and treated her with meds and lots of love and kindness. He saved her life. We’re hoping she will have a good recovery. We were expecting a huge bill, which we would have gratefully paid. But he surprised us with a really affordable bill. I am so grateful to this man who turned a really horrible day into a better one by saving my baby. When I got home, I noticed one of my goats Jasper has a good gash on his leg that’s been bleeding for 7 hours. I couldn’t bring him back to Dr. Veeman because it’s too late and he’s on other calls, but he responded my messages for help quickly. He advised me of what tetanus vaccine i can give to help, while some vet coworker friends of mine come to help stitch him up. I couldn’t recommend this doctor more. 100000/10. Thank you Dr. Veeman for saving my sweet Naomi today.
Fantastic on-farm veterinary service. I've been using them for our cattle for years.
Really great people and organization! Helped my daughter understand the condition of her elderly hen and very sensitively laid her to rest.
