Who We Are

Help your pet thrive with veterinary services from our animal hospital in Aloha, Oregon. Since 1988, Aloha Animal Medical Center has been providing vaccinations for dogs and cats of all sizes, dentistry, and spay/neuter services.

In addition to our standard veterinary services, we offer chiropractic care via VOM (Veterinary Orthopedic Manipulation), drug- and pain-free laser therapy, and allergy testing. We even have a state-of-the-art surgery suite. Our veterinarian, Dr. Thompson, leads his field in internal medicine, dermatology, and nutrition counseling

We have been going to this veterinarian clinic for 18 years.  Dr. Thompson and his team provide excellent and expert care.  Our dogs love going here, we have to keep them from jumping out of the car and running in to the clinic.  The staff are friendly and compassionate, they love animals and it shows.  They have really been there for us in hard times with our pets.  I highly recommend them and will go to no other clinic.

We've been going to Aloha Animal Medical Center since 2006. They provide honest and thorough care at very reasonable prices. We really enjoy the Pet Health Club program, as well! Thank you for always being genuine and caring to our dogs.

I was extremely pleased that I was able to obtain a same day appointment for an issue that came up overnight for my cat. The doctor was very gentle with her when completing a very thorough exam and was very good at explaining her thoughts and treatment options. I continue to find the staff very friendly and caring when interacting with me and my "furry children".

Dr Thompson is an amazing vet. He saved my kitty's life and I am forever grateful. I trust him 100% He does not order un-necessary tests like some vets will. If he says we need a test or bloodwork,  I do not even think twice about it because I know it's true. I have been to other vets who have taken advantage of that, and I can honestly say Dr Thompson never has. He weighs the options, and sometimes says lets just wait and see before testing... and he is usually always right! He is also very clear on price before anything is done. So there are no hidden fee charges that surprise you at the end. My kitty had beaten all odds and is 100% healthy and happy thanks to Dr. Thompson and his loving staff.

Will never take my dog here again.  My dog has never barked at anybody he's met until the vet walked into the room.  My dog started growling & barking, standing by my daughter & I like he was protecting us.  The vet tried to tell me how to "train" our dog (like I've never had a dog before).  Everything he told us to do was mean & negative, totally opposite of the positive training/obedience class we were participating in.  But when he kept telling my dog that he was a "bad dog" and that we needed to thump him across the nose because of his barking then I knew we were at the wrong place.  I am not hitting my dog, not going to be mean to my dog, and definitely not using the negative behavior that was suggested to train my dog.  The office staff was nice and we, dog included, really like them but I will never refer anyone to this office.
