I have been banking with vibrant since it was Deere Harvester Credit Union. I am extremely disappointed with the customer service. Seems to be nothing but issue after issue. They want to focus on everything except being a credit union. Sit on hold for 20-30 minutes and if you reach out via email you get a response hours later. Doesnt seem to be any notes being made on accounts of what anyone is doing on their end. I will have been a month without a physical card because the local branches do not want to print them and no one seems to be able to get me a new card. It is extremely frustrating. If I could rate this 0 stars I would.

I was in the market for high interest rate cds. I found vibrant not only to have excellent products but first rate and almost unexcelled customer service. I have been blown away in fact by the personalized and proficient care I have received in my first months with this credit union. I would highly recommend vibrant Credit Union to anyone looking for a new investment opportunity.

I could not be more pleased with the service I received from Vibrant Credit Union in setting up an account for my new business.  The agent I spoke with on the phone stepped me through the online application process and also helped me to find the link to additional information I needed to request from my state.  The onsite portion of my setup also went very smoothly and quickly. While there I was able to address questions about my personal account and even learned of new interest-earning financial products for savings and checking.  All in all, a great place for all your banking needs!

I've been a customer for 40 +  years long before the name change to Vibrant. I've always been very satisfied with the service and I have had many different types of accounts and loans. I recently received  an email about new savings and checking accounts with excellent interest rates over 4 % - - much, much, higher than my old accounts and close to current CD rates. During the process of of switching my accounts I learned that Vibrant is no longer in the loan business.  They have decided to convert some of their branches to coffee shops with an ATM that you can use to talk remotely with their customer service reps the one on Middle road in Bettendorf seemed nice and very popular. It was explained to me that using this business model allows them to offer the high interest rates on their savings and checking accounts.  I learned this after calling their 800 number. I was able to change all my accounts over, and even get a CD, using the phone to talk with someone at their Moline headquarters the old Sam's Club on JD expressway. You can make an appt to see someone at that headquarters, or see tellers at their Southpark Moline location or their location on Brady Street in Davenport.  I was very satisfied with the service I received over the phone, and an email process allowed me to sign my name. I can see how it can be much more convenient, and I liked the high interest rates for my checking and savings accounts. I am a little disappointed that I can no longer get my loans through them.

I tried to move an IRA I had at Vibrant into an IRA of different terms.  Was told I didn't have an account there  my husband and I have our accounts there, but in a Trust and I wasn't first signer, so told didn't count.  My current IRA didn't count.  So they had to run a credit check even though they give me credit score monthly, open an account then they would move my IRA.  All that after waiting inline for 15 minutes to be told no one here can do that, please call.  Extremely frustrating but rep was nice.

You need more than one Iowa side branch. Your coffee houses are stupid. There's dozens of places to get coffee. "hey honey wanna go to the bank and get coffee?". Stop it. Switching to Ascentra. Be a credit union or be nothing.

Horrible service. This bank failed to protect my money. I was scammed under their nose. They even have the got to return the money to the scammer and filed a lawsuit saying that I should pay back the money they returned. I hope I win this lawsuit. I would not recommend this bank to anybody because there is zero protection for consumers’ money.

I've held off reviewing this place but I think it's time. I've been with this place since it was Deer Harvester Credit Union. Ever since Vibrant took over I feel less important to them, and have been more frustrated by their service. Vibrant will NOT go out of their way or "bend over backwards" for their customers!  This particular location seems to always have problems. From being understaffed during lunch hours, to their computers not working right. Last time I just wanted to have a simple balance sheet printed out. They couldn't do it!  I bought a motorcycle a year ago, then a car this year. I needed a loan for both. Both times I went to Vibrant and both times I was met with absurdly high interest rates. I ended up going somewhere else for both loans! Once again I've been a customer for almost 20 years.  There are much better credit unions out there that take care of their members. I'm in the process of finding one and moving my business elsewhere.

Vibrant credit union has been wonderful to work with. The process was pain free and very smooth.i would highly recommend them!

The Ctedit Union was very clean and modern looking. The staff was  friendly, helpful and efficient. I was very impressed with how well the process went of getting a CD. Will definitely look forward to doing business there again.
