Story

Victory is one church in three locations. Our Ruthrauff Campus meets Sundays at 8am, 9:30am and 11:30am. Our Copper Mountain Campus meets at 9:30am and 11:30am in Oro Valley and our Spanish speaking community, Victory Español, meets at 11:30am in the Elevate Auditorium at our Ruthrauff Campus.

Our mid-week meetings are called Encounter Nights. We meet on our Ruthrauff Campus, at 6:30pm to worship, pray and learn together.

Cool Water Kids is our children's ministry. They meet on Sunday's and Wednesday's to experience Jesus in a fun way that's best suited for their age.

Our junior high students meet on Sunday during the 11:30 service in the Fellowship Hall for worship and a time of teaching, while our High School students meet every Sunday night at 6:30p. Everyone else meets during the week in Groups called Tribes and then come together the first Sunday of the month for a celebration called United Night.

I had attended Victory since 2003. I sung in the choir when they had one and my daughter practically grew up there. We stopped attending Victory several years ago when my daughter and I had a terrible experience with her trying to participate with a youth missions trip. My daughter had raised the necessary funds ($2000+) to go on the trip but through no fault of her own, her visa was not granted until after the trip and she was not able to go. Naturally, we asked the church if they would be refunding the money to those that sponsored my daughter for the trip. The church said no because technically once the donation is made to the church they can do what they want with it. I told them that people donated that money in my daughter's name for her to go on this trip, since she didn't get to go, that money should be refunded. The church refused and never refunded the money. Morally and ethically, I believe that was wrong. It really hurt my daughter even more since she didn't get to go in the first place and then to have to go back to the people that donated and explain why they wouldn't be getting their money back. Several other people questioned the church about the refund but also got the same answer. This whole experience made me see a different side of the church and it hurt to leave but I just couldn't stay there anymore.

The Word of God is preached here in a straight forward honest fashion. Practical application for today is also given. Victory Worship Center is very involved in the community and strives to make a positive impact for the Lord Jesus Christ.

I love this church?  It's so obvious that the LORD is first in this church.  The leadership truly leads by example.
