I really like some of the stores at Sandhill's - great bookstore, great movie theater, some nice restaurants. BUT... my biggest gripe is that the way the developer laid out the complex, you almost have to get in your car and drive to the next store you want to visit unless you are staying the "core" area. For me, the bookstore, the movie theater and restaurants are all pretty separated. I do the walk (it's good exercise for me, the doctor says), but if it were raining I'd be soaked even if I did drive from store to store because there is very little parking actually near the stores! Still, I like the place... and I'll go back!

Best place there is Marble Slab! The absolute BEST ice cream anywhere! Always busy, but friendly staff and clean dining area. Would be great if this location was larger to accommodate more seating.

I’m not saying any of this for no reason - I just want potential visitors to know the truth so they don’t waste their time. I honestly don’t understand how this place got anything above a 2 rating on here. I’m beginning to think that the “local guides” are being paid to give such good ratings because what they’re claiming is simply not true. This outdoor shopping centre has become very dried out over the past few years and has officially hit rock bottom now. The only reason people go over there is to maybe visit the movie theater (mainly young kids) or get something to eat from one of the very few restaurant options. Most of the shops have closed down and there are only a select few that are still open. Even the few shops that are still there aren’t worth visiting. This place needs some major updating. They say it’s “clean” but that’s because no one goes there anymore and there’s nothing there to see or do. How can it be dirty if there’s no one there to make a mess in the first place? There’s nothing going on at Sandhill anymore. I use to love it back when it was a popular place to shop and STORES were actually OPEN. It’s kind of amusing to watch the security ride around as if they’re needed - there’s nothing to protect... no one is there. They should put their hard work ethic into a job where they actually do something. And that’s for anyone that decides to work at Sandhill. The place needs so much improvement, it’s a sad sight! Would not recommend.

Nice place, close to everything. Plenty of shopping centers for all your needs. There's a library/learning center in the area, and some real estate/apartments. It's new and clean. However, it does have a tendency to get a bit crowded.

It is great if you don't mind walking some. That's not to say you can't drive your car to each place. But, it is an outdoor mall. Hence, all establishment doors face out to parking lots. A variety of A-Z in types of stores available with plenty of ice cream, Soda or full restrauants interspersed.
