I love the environment in Village Salon and all the ladies are so friendly. Jodi has been doing my hair for two years now and I'm so happy with her. The prices are excellent also for the services provided. My husband and daughter (7) get their hair cut here as well and love it. 
 I highly recommend Village Salon!

If I had the option to give no stars I would. This is the first time I have ever felt so strongly to write a review. That being said, I would never recommend this place to anyone. 

So I am getting married this month in fort smith and was looking for someone to do my hair for the wedding. I was referred to this salon. I scheduled my appointment and came prepared brining several pictures of the updo I wanted. To make a long story short it was awful. They charged me $45 for a practice updo that literally fell as soon as I walked out the doors ( I swear I'm not exaggerating). Also the girl that did my hair used black Bobbie pins (I have blonde blonde hair, you get the picture). After my awful encounter I called the owners daughter (who I was referred to in the beginning, but she pawned me off on a less experienced stylist). The daughter,Andrea, turned the entire thing around on me, saying they do many updos for prom, weddings, pageants etc., and I am the only client that was unhappy with the outcome. (I find this extremely hard to believe) I apologized to her (not sure that I owed the apology, but the way she talked to me I felt like I had really done something wrong) and thanked her kindly, advising that I would love to have my bridesmaids keep their appointments with the other stylist. She replied saying "I just don't know if we want to keep their appointments. I will talk to my mother (the owner) and call you back today or tomorrow." Two months later I have still not received a call. In a way I'm happy, but in a way I feel like I am even more unhappy with this unprofessional salon for not calling me back, even of they were going to ask me to schedule with another salon. 

Again, this is the first time I have ever felt so strongly to write an online review. I cannot speak for any of their services other than updos. But the lack of respect I received from the owners daughter helps me form my overall opinion of this establishment, needless to say is not a good one.
