Worst service I have had. We didn't get the drinks until after the food got to the table. Did not get any condiments. Asked multiple times. The food looked delicious. After 25 minutes of waiting. It could have been a bad day. Will go back in. 1-2 Months. The waiter was not enthusiastic about work.
Delsey is an awesome server, she definitely knows her job, I and my boyfriend are from Africa and we loved eating at village inn. Thanks delsey for your service. You are awesome! I had the Mexican style skillet breakfast on the menu and the pancakes are so fluffy and to die for!!! And my boyfriend has the chicken burger with friesthe fried chicken in the burger tasted a little stale though
We knew exactly what we wanted we had to wait about 15 min for our drinks to be brought to us all of our food tasted like they warmed it all up in the microwave it was DISGUSTING!! I’ve never had a problem with village inn EVER. First time trying this location and my whole family was disappointed. They forgot my brothers shake they forgot my sons side for his kids meal. My food tasted like they took it out of the freezer and warmed it up. It was so gross. So unfortunately we didn’t know they closed @8 we came in a party of 5 at 7:30. Yes I know that’s annoying for anyone. BUT we ate fast we even cleaned all of our mess up and tipped more than our waitress deserved, she was nice only because she had to be. She rolled her eyes a few times and at first didn’t want to sit us because we came in 30 minutes before closing . But again we all felt bad we tipped her good and again she didn’t even deserve a tip. We only tipped cuz we felt bad and wasn’t aware of the time closing until we got inside. I wish I can get my money back. I’m never coming to this location again. I seen some other bad reviews and obviously the cooks don’t care about the food quality.
We took our grandkids for breakfast this morning.or should I say tried. When we were finally seated after 20 minutes. The waitress came and took our order 10 to fifteen minutes later she brought our drinks that was the last time she visited our table. We finally left after an hour of waiting for our food when people that came in long after us were getting food and we still hadn't received ours. Never going back to this establishment. I understand being busy but that was just ridiculous.
Disappointing. I came here all the time with my family growing up and it was always amazing. The one time I go by myself and the waitress is complaining to customers how short staffed they are and just making excuses. She wasnt checking on tables and went out of her way to avoid tables. She spent so much time playing and kissing a baby at another table and then got attitude. We sat waiting to get to go boxes for 45 minutes and tried calling her over several times. The waitress with the red hair and shaved underneath and glasses did nothing for her customers but the black haired girl with a shaved head underneath was amazing.
Food was ok. Waitress was awful. She took forever in the small section. Forgot our toast. When we reminded her she left for 10 more minutes, then said toast was in toaster. We completed our meals. I guess that toast was burnt crisp. The only place we saw the waitress was at the register flirting with dude. Only gave 3 stars because gf loved her hash browns
This was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant, after I was seated it took 15 minutes for the waiter to ask for drinks and by then we knew what we wanted to eat, it took them 1hr and a half for them to get my order it was 4 people and 2 of them are kids and ordered grilled cheese , it was not busy, they sat a couple after about half hour waiting for the food and they got there food right away. The worst part is the waiter never came to check on us or update us on our food. Then the food came and my had browns were burnt. She left the food on our table and I never saw the waiter again. Seriously the worst experience ever
Food is always enjoyable. Servers are always nice. My issue is that on free pie day we were told the pies we chose were going to be free. We ended up having to pay for them. When checking out we were charged about $10 more than what we planned on expensive. Pretty much were given the, "that's rough response". No solution offered. Walked out wondering what happened. Then decided to make my own solution for it. They didn't offer a solution for this. I went in and just asked if I could get the free pies we missed out on. They were fine with that and it worked out. But it's annoying how we were told the pies we chose were free when they in fact were not. Then I had to come up with a solution for them. Shouldn't have been charged to begin with.
I got here pretty early around 8 not much people so I was excited thinking it would be pretty fast. Once we got our drinks we ordered almost right after then we waited almost 1 1/2 hours before we just decided to pay for the drinks and leave nobody came by to tell us it’ll just be a little bit longer or anything. There was no communication with customers there were many tables also waiting they should at least warn ahead about wait times so unprofessional.
Service was terrible. Our food took a ridiculous amount of time to come out. By the time our food came out, we were done with our drinks. Our server gave us our food and our check at the same time and walked away. She didn’t ask us if we needed refills on drinks. She didn’t return to our table anymore, until we waved her down for some more water. The food itself is good. I’d recommend asking for 3 waters/drinks per person from the beginning. There is a promotion for $10 off, when you download the app, we download it and weren’t able to get the discount. When we mentioned it to the host, she said she doesn’t look at the promotions or have the app, so she couldn’t help us. Overall, we were not satisfied with the service. Our server was the girl with red hair and glasses. I observed 2 other waitresses, they were very attentive to their customers, given it was fairly busy.
