The plain slice is just ok, but why would you ever order it with so many delightful specialty slices? The buffalo chicken slice is the best I've ever had. Pasta dishes and salads are also solid and very well priced. Their catering is always a hit.

This pizzeria has the most diverse styles of pizza around and each one is as delicious as the next.....excellent chicken parm!! BYOB is always a plus in my book.....all around best pizza restaurant in Maplewood/ South Orange area

They do not serve beer or wine and informed us of a wine shop just around the corner. Friendly and responsive staff. Prices are reasonable. We had calzone, chicken parmigian, and shrimp parmigian sandwich - all were delicious. Very casual relaxing place.

Out of all the pizzaria’s in Maplewood, Village Trattoria is the best. They have 25 different varieties of pizza including: buffalo wings, chicken parmigiana, Greek salad, Calimare, white, baked ziti, barbecue chicken, vegetarian, Tex Mex, Cowboy, bruschetta, margherita and the traditional pepperoni, mushroom, plain, etc. You can get this by the slice or a whole pie. Their main courses are just as good. The only negative is that they don’t deliver so you order by phone & pick it up. Other than that, you can’t go wrong with this restaurant. BTW, this place is always busy so give them a half hour to get your order ready for p/u. Enjoy....

My friends tell me that they really enjoy this place but my dish was only OK. I had a shrimp dish with angel hair pasta.
