Story

Bunny's Sports Bar is a local favorite for great draft beer, thin-crust pizza and an array of Italian-American specialty dishes. Visit us on Facebook! We are a family restaurant / Sports Bar and our longevity can certainly be attributed, in part, to dynamic crowds, ever-present drinks, and wonderful employees who pride themselves on guest services.

I've been here a few times, and I liked it until a few months ago. A group of us ordered pizza and drinks, and one friend showed up a bit later. His ID had recently expired (literally 2 days prior) and they refused to serve him drinks. Stupid rule, but okay if that's the policy then whatever. But when he sat down with us to watch the game the manager, or maybe the lead bartender at the time, came over all serious and causing a scene and asked him to leave. They made up some lie about him not being allowed to be in the BUILDING without proper ID because there was alcohol/beer there, despite the fact that there were obviously children eating with their parents at other tables that had alcohol/beer at them. We even watched one of the younger bartenders hand A CHILD a beer to give to his parent who was sitting at the tables out on the patio. I guess if you're friends with them then they'll hand 10 year olds alcoholic drinks and not think twice about "the rules". We stopped making this our game night spot after that. The situation was handled very unprofessionally and their "rules" really don't make any sense.

It's a nice place to get a drink and watch sports in downtown South Orange. There is a lot of space at the bar to accommodate large amounts of people too.

Decent food for a decent price, but hasn't been updated in years. The pizza is pretty good, as are the wings. The taps are pretty full, but don't really have too much craft beer. The theme is a local bar infused sports themes. The walls have a number of team flags, scarves, jerseys etc strewn across and definitely could use more thought. Will not go out of my way to visit, but if a group was going I wouldn't have a problem revisiting.

Great place to bring your kids. The wings are tasty and my family loves the pizza with chicken on top. We always order the wings extra crispy. The brownie a la mode dessert crazy good.

Food is great, atmosphere outstanding! Very loud, so forget conversation, best sports bar, great staff.
