The VU ASL Program is the only American Sign Language program in the United States to be taught exclusively at a campus of a school for the Deaf. Offering the ability to stay on-campus, students learn this beautiful visual language through immersion in the vibrant Indianapolis Deaf community. Instructors come from a wide array of backgrounds and experiences which allows for a diverse learning experience. The program is two years in length, and students graduate with an Associates degree in American Sign Language, and students have the option to continue on to IUPUI's ASL/English Interpreting Program.
